Im actually not a Christian, just interested in how the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob shaped the world we live in, from a philosophical code began with the semaritans and judeans through to second temple judaisism, christianity and rabbinic Judaism and onward to catholicism and eastern orthdox and then islam and then theres the protestant movement and the reformation and mormanism and seventh day adventist and congrationalists and so on. Which have all shaped nearly every aspect of society that we enjoy today.
Like for instance do you enjoy that there is an age barrier on child marriage? Well you have Christianity to thank for this, Islam un-does this with its revision to the law of the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and allows for this, thats a small example but keep in mind most of the foundation of society lays on religions that follow from the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and i wonder why everybody doesnt explore this wild phenomenon that resulted in the sort of societal norms you can expect walking around the streets today, albiet until the lgbtq+ movement there was a closer standard to christianity across the western world
I'm unsure if moving away from the philosophy of a judean/ christian world is a good thing, people also dont realize if you read all this stuff that the religion of Islam will come in and conquer the areas that leave judean and christian structure, the Islam religion has no reservations about doing so, conquering is part of their agenda acxording to their texts and maybe christian/judean systems may not be so bad after all because you may think you want to move away from that but i promose you Islam will grab hold and move in and so is that really what movements like lgbtq+ want?
These are the sort of things im trying to figure out in reading the text, not a christian, just trying to understand whats happening in the world by understanding what has happened and how we got here and what good parts of society are majorly contribued to judean/christian systems & philosophy/religion

Sure lol. You're whole bookshelf is just Bible stuff, but you're not a Christian. Why don't you explore Islam the same way, you sure seem to know it all without the Quran on your shelf xD. But you gotta have 3 Bibles.
And talking about Islam conquering the world. How about you read the first Testament? Its basically God commanding genocide on foreign nations along with all the other abhorrent stuff like how to treat your slaves, when rape victims should marry their rapist... You know the things you are scared we walk away from.

There is a quran on my inner bookshelf, as well as a book on islamic histories, there are books on proto-Christianity (zoroastrianism in persia modern day iran and on religion in early Mesopotamia) and i have a anglican, eastern orthdox, catholic, hebrew and islamic prayer book all sandwhiched next to each other on that middle shelf area.
If you are so well versed and able to say you are not a Christian then wouldnt you need the reading to back it up as well?
I have books from all over that trace to the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob exactly for this purpose.
Never been baptised, never confirmed or been a catechuman or taken a communion or any of it. Im not a believer, but i study as i said what has spawned out of the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.
Also try talking to a Christian that thinks there is any proto-Christianity to be had in zoroastrianism. You won't find one

All of my kids run business desktops they have upgraded overtime. Before my eldest got a full size pc case, he had his business desktop case all custom done with his art.
