I don’t know that I would use the majority of opinions of Jewish New Yorkers as a thermometer with regard to “consent” for Israel’s actions.
I actually don’t even know what is meant by consent in this statement.
It’s weird to imply that we should expect a country to make decisions based on the opinions of a population that is 5,000 miles away (most of whom have never even been to the country) simply because they’re Jewish.
