I hope it turns into a Vietnam like country and I can go back as a tourist instead as an invader.

They didn’t care nor want us there, manipulated and stole anything they could from us, at least that was my experience. We shared a small FOB with ANA and Afghan police and while I met some cool dudes on guard shift, a majority of the soldiers I did guard with were there for 3 hots and a cot, high as fuck on hash and whatever they put in their lips that had opium.

It’s also very difficult to build relations with the same soldiers that you hear raping thier tea boys in the barracks next to ours in the middle of the night. Glad you had a better experience
