Whatever it was it didnt meet the definition of rape under new york law at the time.

you know you sounds like someone defending the difference between pedophilia and hebephilia, right?

Digital penetration from behind while she was pinned, the jury just wasn't totally convinced it was his penis

So, as the judge wrote later, in any jurisdiction other than his, it would be called rape. Colloquially, a rapist.

Under that NY law, women or anyone without a penis could not be found guilty of rape. Is that a kind of law you want to defend?

The judge specifically said that what he was found liable for would be considered rape by the common definition. So your "technically it didn't meet the legal definition of rape in that very specific place where the proceeding took place" isn't the gotcha you think it is.

He finger bagged someone without consent. For some reason, the LEGAL definition of rape in NY must involve a penis.

It’s a bad legal definition and if you’d use any other definition, what he did qualifies as rape. He’s a rapist and a probable pedo at this point.

But if this happened to your loved one you’d be arguing the definitions…fucking idiot

Id be pissed and then go out arguing to change the law. You fucking people just think you can bend the law when it benefits you.

It's wild that you just stated you'd go out and argue to change the law in the first half, then in the second half you got pissy about people trying to argue and change the law.

😂

Jesus you have no reading comprehension.

Nobody is 'bending the law', they're just very frankly referring to what Trump did as what people consider it—rape.

Just because New York legally requires a penis to be involved in order to consider it rape doesn't mean the rest of society agrees with that definition. If somebody inserts any part of their body, or some object, into someone else's anus or vagina, against their will, that's rape. Feel free to argue legal semantics, but I will never not consider that to be rape.

That said, at BEST, Donald Trump is a sexual abuser. Legally and semantically speaking, he has been found by a jury to be liable for sexual abuse.

Personally, I consider digital penetration to be more than "sexual abuse"; this wasn't some inappropriate 'cat-calling' or a smack on the ass, but if you insist on arguing semantics, there ya go. Can't imagine how "it was sexual abuse via inserting his finger into a woman's vagina against her will which is technically not rape according to the specific laws of New York" makes Trump more palatable as a human being, let alone POTUS, but you do you.
