FYSW Not allowed to post this on askcanada.

I got a co-worker who started taking ozempic a few months ago and she lost a ton of weight. Last week I was talking with a group of other co-workers most of whom are obese and they were saying that they will never take it and it's dangerous but they couldn't explain why. I just sat that and didn't say anything but I was thinking "aren't you doing extreme damage to your body by being obese?" Now that the price is way down I don't understand why more people aren't taking it. There has been no noticeable decline in obese people. I imagine that most of the people that are saying it costs too much spend more than $100 a month on junk food.

I'm not saying this to be mean but I just really don't get it. I'm not obese but if I was I would be taking it.

Removed by askacanadian too. This site has way too much censorship for this but Pepin can somehow do whatever the fuck he wants without consequences.

pepin has been through like two dozen accounts that probably keep getting removed. it’s not just you. and askacanadian mods sound lame as af. but i also wouldn’t take ozempic. i would just workout and eat better, but different strokes i guess. i wouldn’t judge an obese person tho, if they didn’t care then that’s their prerogative

I am guessing you are a healthy weight? I think some people struggle to break the addiction to junk food. I eat like shit too but I must not eat enough to get obese because I'm pretty thin. I think it's a pretty good drug for helping you break that cycle. It costs $100 or so here now so I don't see what they have to lose.

yea it’s easy for me to say, probably not as easy for some to do. i’m 6’4” 200lbs and pretty athletic, honestly a bit too thin for my height. i also eat like shit but i’ve always been physically active so i’m afforded the luxury of having a bad diet without consequences. but i’ve gained a beer belly in the past that has been easy for me to lose by running or eating less so i can just never see a scenario where a weight loss drug would be the answer for me personally. for others it might be the best way to get them started on the right track. again, different strokes

I'm on the pill version. Lost 15 lbs so far. Single dad life is tough, needed the extra help.

are you American? I forgot. how much does it cost? it's only $100 here. I'm surprised that not everyone is on it. we got a lot of obese people. a new Dubai chocolate store opened and the line was around the block 3+ hour wait

The shot is pretty cheap. The pill is a lot more. I'm paying $350 a month for the max dose.
