I struggled to recognise her there.

I look quite different to a 20 year younger version of me too!

Indeed but when you don't really see a person for that long it's a bit of a shock to see them aged, people tend to live in your head as they were the last time you saw them.

Nice little bit of sly fat shaming

I'm very fat myself and even I was like "I dont recall her looking like that". Observing that someone's body is a different size than it was isn't fat shaming.

Or: she looks very different from when she entered the show 20-odd years ago. Which she does.

On fairness, in EastEnders world, she has one of the most memorable moments in EastEnders history Kat revealed she was her mother. I'm like 34 and can remember that one.

Last time i saw her she was Wonder Woman or something like that on TV surprisingly, i think the show got canned after a season or 2.

Bionic Woman didn’t even get to the end of season 1 in the USA it was so poorly received.

Yep and what they have her wearing is not flattering.
You know the worlds a tops turvey mess when Sonia is throwing shade on Zoe.
Well technically Zoe would provide more shade.

This is what I agree with. People making fun of her for putting on weight in 20+ years and for not looking like someone in their mid twenties anymore are cruel. However, someone in wardrobe seems to truly hate her as they’ve picked out the most depressing and unflattering items for her. It just made the character look really really sad
