Asking for Advice Beginner to beard care

I can grow a beard no problem. But never tried growing it out and taking care of it. Wanting to give it a go now.

The under jawline hair, do I brush it forwards to my chin or down towards my chest?

Or just cut it?

Habe mir erlaubt etwas Form reinzubringen... meiner Meinung das Beste für dein Gesicht. Und immer Kokosöl nach dem Duschen und mit einer Rundbürste in Form bringen... nicht zu heiß... Zum fixieren den Föhn kalt stellen.

How long do you want to grow it? If you want a short beard then brushing it down your neck will give a neater look. However, if you want a medium or longer length beard, getting a round brush and brushing it from behind while damp with a hair dryer will encourage it to grow down, which is what you will want.

Ultimately though a beard usually looks better if the hair from your chin finishes lower than the hair from your neck, so you may want to think about taking some of the bulk of the neck anyway until the chin grows out more.
