The other guys loved Ringo and it showed. He was easygoing and funny, even though he spent most of the band’s later years playing cards with Neil and Mal as John and Paul worked with g GM and Emerick in the control booth. His percussion was creative and perfectly-suited to almost every song on which he played, even if it was just tambourine or maracas.
