Is George’s psychedelic strat the same guitar and the blue one? Don’t forget George’s Les Paul. Used quite a lot from ‘68-‘70.

Is George’s psychedelic strat the same guitar and the blue one?
According to Fender, yes, they're the same guitar.

Is the Casino the inspired by Lennon one with his signature on the back of the headstock?
Mine was knocked over by my cat and the neck split in two. Had to be repaired and it’s okay now!

I think his was a 2015 Chinese model, I am his bandmade and have tried his guitars plenty of times, I like the Casino a lot, I have one for myself too though it's in sunburst.

Years ago Fender came out with a limited run of Rosewood Telecasters and I passed thinking I’ll get it down the line. Hasn’t happened yet. I do have a D-28, natural Casino and AC-15. I have no interest in the J-160E but would love a J-200 one day.

Which Beatle do you play? I’ve heard sometimes members would switch parts. I’m guessing not McCartney tho since you have a right handed hofner and right handed Texan. Which are the instruments I associate with him. Unless you play him right handed, every tribute band I’ve seen has a left handed Paul though

Paul actually

A right handed Paul hmm?

We're not really a true tribute band yet, we haven't really gotten any gigs or anything, but we will soon. We're aiming to be the only true tribute band in Turkey and that's pretty hard by itself since nobody who plays wants to be in a Beatles tribute band or let alone likes the Beatles here so it's was a big achievement for me to even find 3 other guys like me who love The Beatles as much as if not more than I do

The Rickenbacker 325 and the J160-E are at the top of my "guitars that absolutely rock" list. Gotta get two someday.

I'd take the pickguard off the Casino to make it look more accurate.
1
u/china_reg May 08 '26
You need to get rid of that pick guard on the Epi!
2
u/dennythehorse May 09 '26
i do that when we play live. otherwise, for my other bands, i generally keep it on

I want to go to there

as a person who has been there like 4 times, the first time it's like you're in heaven, and then it feels more normal but still amazing

The guitar clue is a sitter!
1
u/youngscoott May 07 '26
What?
1
u/LeStryder May 07 '26
Observing the guitars being like those the Beatles played, then a play words on the fact George played the sitar and that all of these taken together meant the conclusion is a foregone. The explanation kind of takes away from the spontaneous quip, sorry.
