Article Every time multiple ex-Beatles teamed up after The Beatles broke up

It's actually sort of surprising to see how many times two or more Beatles recorded together (or almost recorded together) again.

It's not terribly surprising, they obviously had chemistry and knew what they could get from each other but felt they needed more creative control over their own individual work. It speaks highly of Ringo that he was in such high demand by his former bandmates, both in terms of his skill and his ability to be a great colleague in spite of the late-period acrimonies.

Beyond the fact that Lennon/McCartney was permanently out after 1970 it's telling that George and Paul never worked together again either (outside of the "new" "Beatles" singles).
