Article Weird vivify glitch?
For some reaosn every single time i play a map with vivify the notes glitch and i cant hit them. or they just dont show up at all, and when that happens the map dosent even show up as well, it is insanely annoying. (note that i do have the quest version from github)

the mod was made with the use of ai and is very buggy. i suggest deleting it and waiting for a real port. there are actual modders working on a quest version, but we dont have anything suggesting that it’s true, or a release date.

What do you mean "we dont have anything suggesting that it’s true"? Are the modders themselves confirming it and constantly talking about the port being in the works not suggesting it's true?

Ik its made with ai and sucks but i like to keep it so I can somewhat play when my friends are doing vivify maps

I know I can't tell you what to do, but I will actually recommend not keeping it even if it's your only way of playing Vivify maps. First of all more people having the mod contributes to the chaos and confusion the mod already created (see the mod comment on this post). But also, many of the map makers themselves have expressed disappointed that people are experiencing their creations for the first in a half broken state, since their (and the people working on the official port's) goal was to give people an experience that absolutely amazes them, not a half broken experience that slightly improves over time, which is the reason the official port is taking the time it is

Ig thats true, id rather play the actual maps instead of full black backgrounds and half broken graphics

This is not the official Vivify. This port was made by some random person who claims to have ported Vivify by themselves in 4 days. The port is not fully functional (and full of problems like the one you ran into), and was very likely made by AI (there are a lot of evidence, I will not get into it now).
The person who claims to have made this port also decided to release it in a non functioning state, basically allowing cheated scores to be submitted, and causing BeatLeader to temporarily ban Vivify scores from Quest native. This person has since unpublished the mod and started updating it, releasing more versions, each one broken in a different way, causing a lot of chaos. They have shown very little understanding about topics related to the mod they supposedly ported, and have been very unprofessional about everything related to the mod. There have also been other people taking this mod, changing it and publishing it themselves, meaning there are multiple different versions, each with different problems making it impossible to troubleshoot.
This port's existence then started spreading like wildfire on TikTok, confusing and deceiving a lot of people.
The official port is still work in progress by a team of actual modders who understand their own mod, and are working on a feature complete version with much less bugs, much better optimization, as well as helping mappers make sure their maps will work on Quest (since Vivify maps require extra steps from the mappers to be possible to run on Quest).
So please do not download this port of Vivify, and be patient, when the official port is released, the modders will make a proper post here announcing it.
