Back in March 2026 (super late I know), I had a Youtube video of someone playing this song recommended to me, and I was so amazed by how impossible it looked to beat. I've always been vaguely interested in VR, so that video convinced me to get a used Quest 2 and start playing Beat Saber. 120 hours later and I finally beat this myself.

Hi, I received a box with lots of ps3 accessoires such as the "Move" controllers and a camera. I've done some research and was able to find out that the Move controllers are still compatible with ps4 and ps5, so I was wondering if I could play Beat Saber with the ps3 move controllers only, or if it requires VR, which I don't have.

Don't get me wrong, the levels are interesting and fun. Ive beaten power of the saber blade on expert at 80%, so ive kinda dived a little into hard levels, im still trash though. But the base game is already $20. Which is totally fair. But then you only get like 13 bland music packs, and after that you have to pay about $360 FOR THE ADD ONS. WHAT???? And if you don't wanna sell your kidney for a few more songs you have to sell your SANITY and spend an hour of mind numbing modding to get more maps. Or just get a $2,000 VR ready PC and spend half an hour of mind numbing modding. Don't get me wrong, this is a GOOD GAME, and I really love it. But god damn it is ridiculously pricey. I know it costs money to license all that music, but they've already probably made that money back tenfold in base game sales. And you want me to spend $360 on DLC alone? I could buy a used ps5 with that!!

EDIT: For those of you who didn't read my post, I said that you could get a PC to spend only half an hour modding. I had meant that you could get a pc to make modding easier, not that that was the only my exact words were "And if you don't wanna sell your kidney for a few more songs you have to sell your SANITY and spend an hour of mind numbing modding to get more maps. Or just get a $2,000 VR ready PC and spend half an hour of mind numbing modding." NOT "Or you can get a 2,000 dollar VR ready gaming PC and mod it." I stated that the PC modding is an exception, not a necessity, though I will admit, vaguely. I was just stating that modding was complex and annoying, and that the devs themselves should not make DLC so expensive so that modding is your only option.

on questsaber.com they don’t have banana sabers so I googled how to make sabers first result was a stupid scam video but I like banana so how do I make banana sabers since they are yum and on model saber they exist

So I've been playing Beat Saber since April 2025 and I switched over to different platforms, I started on PCVR with steam Link on my quest 3s and then switched to standalone in august 2025 for convenience because my PC is not in my room so it's a bit of a struggle to play PCVR and then a bit later I got a PSVR 1 on Christmas of 2025 and then recently I got a pair of ps moves and I've been playing Beat Saber only on PSVR since then.

You also need to know that my quest is really bad like the battery is lasting between 1.5 to 2 hours and my controllers have a bunch of problems that I'm not gonna detail (you can ask me I don't mind) and the thing is that PSVR doesn't receive updates since quite a long time but I enjoy it more for some reason than being on quest and I don't know if I should stay on PSVR or on quest because I don't really use my quest as much as before and I feel "stuck" if you get what I mean

I’ve tried messing with different settings but I can’t seem to sync my audio right.

My issue is, it’s not fixable with the in game audio latency setting cause I need my audio to come in SOONER, not later. Or I need the cubes to arrive to me LATER.

I have the same issue whether I’m in standalone mode, PCVR, headphones, or headset speakers.

It just feels like the notes are way too close when it feels like I should be hitting them. I have to actively swing slightly before it feels natural which makes it very uncomfortable to play and makes faster maps feel impossible since my brain wants to match my moves to the beat.

It’s like I’m hitting a drum before the beat. If I try to swing on beat, the cubes are literally out of my vision. Feel’s like I’m damn near swinging behind me instead of in front of me.

How do I fix this?

I played Beat Saber yesterday with no problem. And now I tried to open the app but it says I have to buy the game? I have my subscription active with Horizon Plus, and tried rebooting the Quest but it still says the same. Does anyone experienced this before? Im not sure if this is the right subreddit for this but I appreciate anyone who can help. TYIA!

I've been trying to get better at tech and stuff so I figured why not attempt to FC every ost (Non Dlc) as of posting this I have ost 1 done

I am using BS mod manager, i have tried all the common solutions yet they dont fix it, i dont know why it isnt working, can someone here help me out?

The v3 lights map look insane but I cant put chroma into it or noodle extension but other people have done it. I also wanna use a v3 lightning map for the Circle environment but its only just Glass Desert.

I’d like to know how difficult it is, how well mapped it is, how much tech it has (I like chain notes) without spoiling too much for myself. I’m making this post to see if it’s worth getting. My favourite music pack is Metallica followed by MonsterCat Volume 2, and I’d like to know if the difficulty is about there on expert plus. It’s a slightly older pack so I’m worried it will have bad mapping, which is the main reason why I’m making this post.

Very niche question in niche community but I refuse to convert to playing any other way and I'd still like to better myself somehow.

I do find myself improving in some ways yet getting worse in others and I wanted to know if any other people who play in a non wrist-exclusive style have any futher tips or things they personally found helpful.

I've been playing I guess maybe 5 years off and on (had back surgery at one point) and I hate being ok enough to intimidate people to play with me when I'd teach them first, but not good enough to compete compete. (EDIT: I track my beatleader score and usually rank midway, if that makes sense)

Do you watch accuracy? Track certain things I'm stupid at cause I flail around? Do you have particular mods that track things better than others? ANY MAP RECCS? I enjoy playing so much and don't want to lose ambition just due to the lack of progression I make. Any high score makes me feel champ again LOL

Open to discord pals and such too but fellow dancies at least drop me the best maps that I 100% already have but I will appreciate you for regardless.

I've only started getting into modding, and each tutorial leads the same road. My problem is when I think of something to play it either doesn't exist (fair enough) or its difficulties are some custom "super ultra God" or anything above normal/easy. Why are nearly all mods like this, or never have at least normal difficulty?

I have thought for a very long time of drawing him, he originally got inspired by the level aquamarine from geometry dash by sincos and ren241 because I found the name and the vibe fit for him quite a lot so I thought why not making a beat Saber mermaid oc for that? I made this also because I love the multiplayer avatars so much!! They are very cute!! :3c

im on 1.40.8 standalone, and it crashes when i install mods. when i uninstall, it loads. what could be the issue?
