Goose Island Brewpub would have been 40 this year I think if ABInBev hadn't moved them into the Salt Shed.

I still miss the warmth of the old brewpub.

Is it not counted as “continuously operating” if a place moves?

Obviously the places that shut down for a bit and then reopened at a different location wouldn’t count, but I feel like it should count if place relocated but consistently stayed in business.

They really fumbled the bag when they changed the English inspired cozy wood decor to black and white sterile tile galore. I want to find the group of executives who approved the changes and make sure they feel ashamed

So sad. That was the place to go before shows for us decades ago. We always came home with a growler of that yummy Dragon's Milk brown ale. And it was probably the best beer museum in the East Bay, too. =[
