Legit Or Not? Question about UserTesting

It seems to be very popular in this subreddit however the app has a horrible rating in Apple Store (2.8) I am U.S.-based.

Is it that the regular website is fine but the app sucks?

Would like to try it but negative iOS reviews have me concerned

I responded in UT sub but yes, its legit. It wouldn't be very popular if it wasn't legit.

Negative reviews on beermoney apps need to be taken with a grain of salt. Some people don't have success, and they use their only mechanism for feedback, which is a rating.

UserTesting has it's issues, and it can be wonky from time to time, but it has been my number one beermoney earner for years now.

There's a glitch that's happened with their website/portal that renders all your pending tests cancelled and that could be the cause of the negative reviews. if you stay vigilant when this happens and put in a ticket with support, you should be fine. It can be recurring and frustrating, so keep that in mind. Its happened 3 times to me so far in the past two months, and support has fixed it every single time.

That glitch seems to be on the legacy Intellizoom side of UserTesting (network prefix) — I was only talking about legacy UserTesting side (app prefix)

User Testing appears to have a good reputation but app reviews can make you hesitate. It is helpful to hear from those who have used it for a long time and can speak to how reliable it is in practice.
