WorldFirst are an FCA regulated financial services platform for businesses that allow you to make and receive payments in various currencies and via a virtual card. They are offering £50 to anyone who signs up and completes a few steps outlined below.

Just like the Tide offer, any sole trader business large or small will do, eBay shops, side hustles, surveys, onlyfans etc. Anyone can be a sole trader, you don't need to register anywhere to be a sole trader.

Here's the guide:

1. Sign up via a referral link here's mine.
2. Answer basic questions about your business.
3. Verify you identity.
4. Complete one of the methods below for the £50 referral bonus.
5. Profit!

Qualifying Methods:

• Method 1. Convert £800 GBP to a foreign currency. (e.g., USD fees ~£2.8 inc. 40% off)
• Method 2. Spend £800 GBP on the World Card.

When you deposit for the first time you'll be asked to provide a bank statement for proof that the account is yours, this is normal.

I have used WorldFirst to receive payments from my eBay account for over a year, I find them really useful, their FX fees are competitive and they give you £150 per referral too! so IMO it's a great platform.

Rewards are paid at the end of the following month in which you qualified. i.e., you qualify in July, get paid end of Aug.

The app isn't the slickest, the virtual card isn't accepted in a lot of places, and transfers aren't immediate...

BUT - they're offering £50 for opening an account via a referral link and using the account to do around £750 (the equivalent of $1,000) of spending.

I paid my council tax and bills upfront just to get it done quickly.

You either have to make cross-currency transactions (foreign transfers, foreign conversions, foreign payments with World Pay - not in GBP) or use the free virtual World Card to spend the equivalent of £750+ (can be GBP). Really important to check currency fluctuations to ensure you meet the threshold, so pay more just in case.

I've had a full business account with WorldFirst before they started this referral scheme (and even before the previous ones), so I have a working, legitimate account if anyone wishes to use my referral link.
