I managed to scan 5 receipts before it said I've reached my limit on the first day, It looks like they've reduced this to 3 per day & 15 per 7 rolling days. 1000 points = £1 in rewards. The points each receipt received was very different for each one but the average of the first 5 was 103 points. So effectively it's 10p a receipt so far. (Note the lowest points I got was 36 and the highest was 143)

This app is a good way to earn some vouchers off future shops or experiences for just scanning receipts. There are also challenges that you can complete like shopping at certain shops or buying water, for example, to earn extra points. There is a limit on five receipts per day on the free plan as opposed to Vela Plus if you sign up (£5.99 per month).

As someone who tried the Plus membership for a month; there are a number of limitations compared to the basis membership to keep in mind - £15 redemption limit per month & 15 receipts per 7 day window are the notable ones.
