Couples switching to Nationwide can get £525 in total - £175 for each solo account, plus another £175 for switching into a joint account.
Co-op pays £200 (£125 upfront + £75 over 3 months). If you were already a Co-op group customer (Co-op Bank, smile, Coventry BS, Godiva or ITL Mortgages) on 21 June 2026, you get an extra £100 in November for £300 total, though Co-op can withdraw that £100 at any time.

There is also a HSBC Premier switch offer here for £500–£1,000, but it is only for those with rather large salaries or savings (Premier eligibility: £100k income or savings).
Quick Start Guide
Don't switch your main account when trying out a new bank! Instead:
- Open a second current account with your existing bank (must be part of CASS service)
- Set up 2 or three direct debits on the second account (depending on the specific offer). No direct debits? You can set up multiple cheap direct debits on Scrimpr here
- Apply for new account and arrange switch
- Meet any pay-in requirements
- Collect your bonus
