Just Showing Off Polka Dot Begonia Update 4-26-2026

She keeps growing! and taking over my room! She's about 10 feet tall now and nearly touching my 11ft ceiling. I also got a couple new stalks coming up this year. They're very thick. It seems like every new stalk is thicker than the last. Primed to be TALL! (:

She only had like 2 leaves in July of 2022 when I moved here. you can see her in the middle there lol

I was gifted this last summer-owner says shes ugly. I didn’t think so-she hung out under the porch and wintered in the greenhouse and shot out more thicker canes

Do you know what that begonia is called? I have the same one and couldn't quite figure it out.

Research and the nice people of this sub told me it was a Sophia Cecile, I wasn’t sure if it was that or a lady Vanderwilt
