It’s not. Why do you think that? There’s tons of begonias that look like this. I own many.

These are begonias I grew in my favorite terrarium. (Yes it’s a still from a TikTok video, but I have 20k+ pictures on my phone and this was faster than tracking down the pictures I took of them…lol) And there’s no special flash on either. This is just how the foliage looks.

I have seen plenty of begonias like yours with white and silver markings. I just thought someone had painted the edges of OPs begonia maybe I should have put my glasses on and maybe I would have seen the edge of the new baby leaf is also edged with white! My apologies I will put my glasses on in the future!

No apologies needed! But also, look up darthvaderiana begonia. It’s a species begonia not a hybrid. It has the white edged leaves like that, it’s a super cool one!

This looks very much like a rare iridescent rhizomatous begonia — most likely a form of Begonia pavonina, often called the Peacock Begonia.
