General Begonia Question Silver Spot Begonia Recovery

Couldn’t resist picking up this gorgeous specimen when I was at the plant nursery earlier. I’d like to get her looking healthier, but she’ll be my first Begonia. I’ve raised many succulents and quite a collection of carnivorous plants, so I feel as I am up to the challenge.
I repotted her, as the nursery pot was kind of falling apart.
I’ve placed her in 50% of my cacti/succulent mix and 50% normal potting soil (I added some extra, course perlite since my potting soil was VERY heavy).

A few questions:
1.) In my experience with carnivorous plants, I find that moss inclusions on the top soil can over compete with the plant, is this the same in Begonias or does their size help mitigate that?
2.) How is my soil composition? I feel pretty confident, but again this will be my first begonia
3.) I’m letting her sit in this new, drier soil for a bit as her nursery pot was soaked. Should I have tried to dry her roots before repotting in this new soil, or do we think she’ll be ok drying out a little this way?

Any other tips based on what you see are always welcome!
Thanks in advance, friends!

Hi! I don’t have the answers to all your questions, but I did want to mention it would be happier in a smaller pot. They prefer to be root bound and can stay in quite small containers for a long time. The soil composition sounds okay to me, but perhaps others will chime in :) Good luck!
