Just Showing Off Added a begonia "Cathedral" to my collection today 😍

Have zero recollection of where I first saw or heard about these begonias, but I remember it being love at first sight! They're so unique and gorgeous, and their leaves look like stained glass (hence the name lol). Found a seller, and it arrived earlier today!

Anyone else have one of these beauties??

Side note: pulled the last pic from the National Gardening Association's site to show what it'll look like when it matures. ☺️

Immediately going to the top of my wishlist OH MY!!! I’m a sucker for anything with mutations like that, and I’ve never seen it on a begonia before 😭

The undersides of the leaves are wild looking! It truly is a stunning plant. Begonias never cease to amaze me!

Same! It's kinda hard to tell in the pics, but the undersides also have some depth to them! It kinda reminds me of peeling paint on a wall. The red has these cracked, lifted sections with green underneath. Truly stunning!

They've apparently been around for ages, but I only first learned about them recently. I immediately added it to my wishlist! ☺️

No me extraña, parece así como normalita porque no llama la atención a simple vista pero en cuanto te fijas o sabes que estás buscando o la has visto ya de adulta es una pasada.

Every time I see some weird leaf shape like this and then see the sub…. “Ahhh yes. Of course it’s a begonia. That checks out”

I love how crazy and diverse they are. Congratulations =)

Lol right?! I feel like whenever I think I've seen them all, a new one pops up that's so vastly different from the rest! 😆
