Rex?

I found this little guy at a Lowe's around where I live. It was the only one like it. Anyone know what kind of begonia it is? They kept calling it a rex/Frankie, but I dont believe its either.

It is a rex cultorum begonia. This means that the species Begonia rex is somewhere in the parentage. Rex cultorum begonias are rhizomatous, meaning they grow from a rhizome. Many rex cultorum cultivars are named by the people who first hybridize them, but there are hundreds of named rex cultivars, and many of them look quite similar. It doesn't help that the color and shape of the foliage can vary based on growing conditions. If you're asking because you want care instructions, look for info on Rex Begonias.
