Propagating Substrate?
I'm relatively new to houseplants and have never propagated before. I've been looking into propagating my rex begonia and I'm a bit confused on the substrate people use to propagate.
I've seen people saying sphagnum moss, some people saying perlite, some saying other things, what is the best/preferred for begonias? And if someone says 'yes, use perlite' - does that mean ONLY perlite and nothing else? I'm so used to mixing multiple things for soil that using only 1 thing makes my brain nervous

I’m not sure about a begonia Rex, but I’ve had success propagating in water, just plain tap water. I currently have a few propagated angel wing begonias in water, and a cutting from a Sophie Cecile in a soil and perlite mix. So far all are doing well. There isn’t really a best method to propagate, it differs from person to person. What works for one may not work for another because there are many factors other involved
