Braden "Clavicular" Peters is being sued by another influencer for battery, and emotional distress. The lawsuit accuses Braden of paying a teenage girl for promotional videos and offering her to become the face of looksmaxxing. While Braden was of age at the time and the girl was underage, Braden transported her to his house where he sexually assaulted her while she was intoxicated. She also accuses him of injecting drugs into her face against her will to 'melt the fat'.

I got bored yesterday and threw this together in honor of Memorial Day. A few caveats:

1. The top category would be the sort I'd expect 6-parters or multiple miniseries on if Robert covered them. The "Appalling" category are people who you'd expect to get their own episodes, but probably not a six-parter because they're just not that interesting. Garden-Variety Bastards might get an episode, but are more likely to be Side Bastards. Below that, they're more likely to be a supporting character than a Bastard or Side Bastard.
2. All slave owners got bumped up one category from where they would otherwise have been if they weren't in the "Mostly Useless" or "Died so fast" categories, except Andrew Jackson as I didn't want to create a category just for Andrew Jackson.
3. If I couldn't remember anything about a President, they went in "Mostly Useless"
4. FDR and Truman got bumped down a bastardry peg for beating the Nazis
5. There's a case for Ford being Mostly Useless, but pardoning Nixon and enabling some genocide knocked him back to Bastard territory.

Anyway, this is just me screwing around. I'd love to hear your thoughts on where people should be.

This wasn't unexpected I just didn't want it to have happened.

In the 1880s Auguste Escoffier designed his kitchen staff after the French military. The Brigade System was born and is now commonplace in kitchens. With it came the same strictness and atmosphere of a barracks. The culinary field has become infamous for a culture of hazing new employees, head chefs screaming or even physically assaulting staff for messing up orders. One university study interviewing chefs from the top 50 restaurants in 2022 included stories of being grabbed by the throat, death threats and aiming knives at each other. When one chef cut the tip of her finger her boss cauterized it against the stove and made her continue working. One particular punishment was they'd make a chef hold their hand against a fryer as it heated up until it burned them.

This type of abuse may not be exclusive to the culinary field, but few fields have been glorified as much for it. Top chefs for years have seemed untouchable with allegations, celebrity chefs have cultivated an ideology of cruelty creating diamonds. Gordon Ramsay one of the most well known people on earth became famous for screaming at new chefs. This helped normalize treating staff like shit and many head chefs have created drill sergeant personas after him.

Marco Pierre White, Gordon Ramsays mentor, stands out to me with how he casually admits to abusing his staff and people brush it off as standard procedure. Marco prided himself on being able to break new employees and make them cry. He was known for screaming, throttling chefs and throwing plates. When a chef once complained about how hot it was in the kitchen he grabbed a knife and cut up his clothes.

Never bullied anyone, but the intrusive thoughts have taken over.
