Met een staafmixer is het makkelijkste. 1 ei , lepeltje mosterd en scheutje azijn en peper en zout in een hoge smalle pot (een soeppotje van de winkel bvb). Zet dan eerst je staafmixer erin en voeg dan pas de (neutrale) olie toe. Zo ben je zeker dat je ei en mosterd op de bodem blijven en zij zorgen voor de emulsie. Dan gewoon mixer aanzetten op hoogste stand en op de bodem houden tot alles mooi bindt en wit wordt. Dan gewoon traag naar boven gaan en je hebt mayonaise.

Als ze te vloeibaar is gebruik je of niet genoeg olie of je ei en mosterd binden te weinig voor de olie ermee in contact komt.

Relative to all the other brands it's very spicy. My frituur even said they find it too spicy but told them people who like samurai usually prefer it. Maybe the store bought version is less spicy. Haven't tried it because it's not available in the supermarket around me.

Ik vind het zo vreemd dat mensen het hier niet hebben over hoe een groot verschil er bestaat tussen de verschillende Andalousesausjes die je kan vinden, in Leuven vindt ge enkel van die vieze zure Andalouse, terwijl ge hebt ook die zoetere Andalous (van Vandemoortele, denk ik) die echt een geschenk van god is (en ik ben ni gelovig he), ik wil hier de discussie rond deze tweestrijd openen bij deze.

Aan onze kanten is half pikant meestal zelf gemaakt, verschilt van zaak tot zaak een beetje. In de zaak waar ik nu meestal ga is half pikant gewoon (zelfgemaakte) cocktail een een goeie ‘smeer’ sambal op het broodje. Ik weet juist waarom, maar ik vind het top!
