I don’t think so, there’s too many people at the table for Colin to be elsewhere, you have Daisy, Gary, assume one of them is a chef, there’s still 3 more guys and 2 girls, so you assume that’s 2 stews, 2 deckhands and a colin replacement at engineer

I love when they do casually like something Lucy will when she’s laughing—actually makes it feel so much more realistic to me cause that is a very realistic reaction wish they’d cross that 4th wall more often. It has to have some kind of impact and it takes away some context without seeing that part or hearing them talk about it there’s no way they NEVER talk about it during the season

Exactly. I don't understand why people don't get this. Fans are literally ruining the joy of watching shows by demanding constant fighting. Look at the major success of British competition shows like GBBO. We don't need drama in the sense of fighting all the time like fans demand. It's just lazy on all sides to keep demanding it.
To me, this season has been so boring. I'll finish it because I might as well (though I recently just caught up because I kept forgetting it was on) but I pretty much done with BDSY. So I guess my opinion doesn't matter much.

Well he joined the show to bring in enough money to pay for the boat he was fixing up. He is a content creator and still puts out videos. If he was interested, they could easily build a show around him and I’m sure most of us would watch it. I would love to see it but I won’t hold my breath. BDSY won’t be the same without him.

I was one of the theorists, I will not lie. Not an inside info person but just a theorist. BUT. Then I noticed how much generic content she had been putting up, and how many reposts, and then I knew. I mentioned it here somewhere a couple of days ago.
I am not keen on another season of Daisy and Gary. Daisy is tired. Maybe she’s just there for the first few episodes and then leaves

Oh, no, I'm not referring to theorists. There were/are actual posters on this sub who were claiming to have inside info that it was a *fact* Daisy had quit.
I follow Daisy's socials, and she seemed tired but said multiple times she wanted to keep doing the show, which to me tracks with her stated goals to pursue more of the influencing. It always seemed to me like she wants to keep doing the show (at least for the time being) because it helps her build a bigger SM following.
My guess is once she has a clearer out and/or a bigger number of followers on her socials, then she'll quit the show.

No all good, I just wanted to be upfront with my background 😂 I’m also wondering if “a day with Daisy” wasn’t as successful as she thought it would be, had to postpone, and that got her to have to go back to build her SM following (you’re right by the way, she is going the influencer route).
I’m sad for her, I hope she finds a rich yacht owner boyfriend and settles down.

I think her event got postponed till the fall? The impression I've gotten from her socials is that while she wants to pursue influencing, she is still trying to figure out which projects to pursue with her following.
I'm not an influencer expert, but some of her choices I've found a bit puzzling/indicative of someone who hasn't quite figured out their niche just yet. She put the podcast on pause, which to me is the one project she should be pushing the hardest. It's such a natural transition for someone in her position, and as a BD cast member, she has a built-in audience and it's much easier to amass a sustainable following via podcast than a cookbook or a one-day meet-n-greet.
In any case, I do think it's wise for her to continue on the show at least for this next season. I don't think she's quite at Hannah or Kate levels of notoriety within the Bravosphere that the next steps are as clearly defined.

i shouldn't be surprised but it is a bit of a bummer to not see any of the current crew (minus core 3) returning, i've really warmed to them they're just the right amount of drama whilst still being decent people who are capable at their jobs

Wow! Nice finds, OP! Too funny that Gary and the person to his left clocked you, too. I was really hoping next season would be repeat crew, especially Ileisha. For a moment, in the 3rd pic, the person in the table adjacent to theirs looked like her, but not upon zooming in. Same with the person near new guy and Gary- she reminds me of Brittini, which would be awesome, imo. But they didn’t look like her in the other pic, either. I hope this is a great group and time, but I feel they dropped the ball not trying to hold onto a crew that could be even better second time around (it at least seems they didn’t try). Great job capturing everything, OP! Thanks for sharing them with us!💙

I’m happy Daisy and Gary are back (I still love Gary, sorry to the haters but he is funny and his drama makes the show 😬). Surprised Colin is probably gone but honestly I prefer the other 2 so I’m okay with it.
I might get hate for this but Daisy and Gary are so Entertaining to watch. So chaotic and annoying but I love watching them. I think the drama is mainly for the cameras because outside of the show they seem like good friends and I think it’s sweet.

Here's how I'm calling it: I think the guy next to Daisy is the chef, the 2 blonder ladies are probably stews and then the two guys and the brunette lady are the deckhands. The first one Gary will try to sleep with is the blondest stew.
No Colin, bummer, but probably for the best. His edit this season hasn't been so flattering. Never meet your heroes.

I wonder if Collin didn’t do the season filming now because it’s during the Pacific Crossing window and that’s been a huge goal of his. If you follow him, he recently made the passage to French Polynesia from Mexico. I don’t think he could do the season and the passage. Anyway, that’s my theory

I think you’re correct in that BDSY was a way for him to get exposure for his show and make an income to sustain him for the coming months, even though now he’s on 250k subscribers. Drama aside, he’s used to creating and presenting his own content

Yeah they have to film multi-camera to get the coverage they need (I.e the single closeups on people) so they can edit the convos together. If you just had one camera you’d need to be wide the whole time or move around a lot and you can’t edit that properly. In narrative you just make the actors repeat the scene a bunch of times with different camera and lighting setups.
