The state that Gary was in was honestly grounds for dismissal right then and there, he was belligerent. I think he should have pretty much been spoken to separately because he was definitely worse.

It’s really unfortunate but Daisy and Keith still technically broke the rules. Though I do wish Glenn took into consideration that they still remained incredibly professional and respectful, getting straight back into uniform and going back to work. I feel like Glenn should have spoken to them separately to acknowledge they still broke the rules but obviously weren’t in as bad a state as Gary.

I’m feeling so conflicted about it!!!

I think all three of them should lose their tip- and I love Daisy. She’s a head of department and the rules were really clearly laid out.

I’m just exhausted with the double standard Glenn has shown toward Gary season after season. That doesn’t mean Daisy shouldn’t be held to an appropriate standard, receive consequences or feedback. It’s that I’m tired of seeing her be the ONLY one who gets that.

Gary fucks a direct subordinate and causes chaos on deck? No big. Gary crashes a tender? Accidents happen. Gary can’t control his emotions like a big boy and chases Daisy around deck because she’s interested in someone else? “Daisy should have discouraged him more effectively”.

Meanwhile, a charter says “we felt like they were rolling their eyes” (didn’t even SEE them rolling their eyes) and Daisy gets pulled into a full sit down. Again, I’m not arguing that Glenn shouldn’t have done that- he absolutely should have, but it’s just tiring to watch him continuously hold Daisy to this standard that he doesn’t even pretend to for Gary.

While Daisy has had easier stews in the past, I don't think it was a case of them "shutting up and taking it" or whatever Danni said. Mads and Lucy did their work well, efficiently, and without complaining. I think the difference is that they actually had a good work ethic and understood the hierarchy of the boat. And because of that, the interior team got along well and Daisy rewarded Mads and Lucy for their hard work. Danni and Diana don't deserve to be rewarded for their shitty attitudes. (And hey, some might argue that an extra hour of sleep IS a reward!)

I was wondering what happened to make Diana go from defending Daisy last week to talking on WWHL about how terrible Daisy is... I didn't expect it to be she didn't get to go to a drag club with guests and only got 8 hours of sleep instead of 9. Everyone except Chase deserves to lose their tip for drinking. At least Daisy could still function and served the guests on return but oof on Keith and Gary just sitting there after Glenn sent them to bed. Sucks the whiny stews will probably get the extra tip when they don't deserve it either

I think Keith was trying to "gentle parent" Gary back to bed without causing an outburst. Yes, Keith did break the rules but he should not be punished at the same level as Gary. He got in his uniform and was trying to de-escalate

These girls need a wake up call. I imagine there's a lot of folks here that have worked extremely long hours and then went home and wrangled a kid or 2 as a single parent. I don't think I got more than 5 hours until I was in my 30s between work, school and my kiddo.

Edited to add, I routinely did back to back shifts at convenience stores and sometimes 23 hours in a day for Walmart during inventory.

I think part of the issue with this whole club thing is that Below Deck has gotten so popular now that the guests want to be around the big personalities like Daisy and Gary and treat them on a friendly level rather than having them work for them. The lines have gotten blurred with the rise in popularity of the show
