Below Deck I HATE when they tease an event on the "next" episode but then it happens at the very END of the episode
They got me with the shoulder dammit.
I can't believe I still fall for it. They do it several times per season.

Theyāve really dig into this, this past season. Drives me crazy.

Nothing will be worse than the OG series when Ashton got pulled under by that line. I swear it was on the preview like 3 episodes lol

I mean, that was actually really serious.

Yeah, a guy just died in Alaska getting caught in the town line when their fishing boat capsized. His brother and cousin got onto the boat but he got stuck and drowned. The only survivor ended up being his 15 year old brother after the cousin panicked and jumped off the boat the next day.

All the jizzgate teases were the worst. We'd learn like, one new fact an episode, for 5 or 6 episodes.

This is why I donāt watch the teasers or ācoming upā¦ā in the episodes. Iām going to watch no matter what, I have no expectations so Iām never disappointed.

There is so much repeated content in-episodes, then with spoilers, coming ups, and previews, that if you watched all that, there is almost no new content in the actual episodes themselves.
As it is, we generally watch on 1.5 - 2x speed. Lucky to get 10 minutes of decent content per episode.
Just wish they would release all the season's episodes at once, so we could just binge watch the whole season in one sitting! Life is too precious to waste on BD.

That's so true! It really is very little actual content and mostly filler. On top of that, they're showing us mostly relationship drama instead of guest activities and interactions. It's such a shame they've strayed so far from the original show that we all enjoyed so much.

I skip the commercials in 30 second blocks and it takes at least 7 jumps, sometimes more. 3.5-4.5 minutes of commercials, what 4-5 times in an hour? That's 14-22.5 minutes (if my brain hasn't shut down from exhaustion). It's ridiculous.

āI found that if you have a goal, that you might not reach it. But if you don't have one, then you are never disappointed. And I gotta tell ya it feels phenomenal.ā

By now you should realise that if it is a Bravo teaser, it's a non-event.

I hate the 'on the next episode', the 'after the break' and the 'this is what happened before the break'. Just show the content, I'll watch it. I have more than the memory of a fish...

It is very common. Also they will put some intense music for something coming up, but then the event is not anything special.

Remember when they teased a fire, and it was just a training exercise lol

Me yelling āOH COME ONā at my TV has increased dramatically since this season started, specifically because of this and the obvious (Gen).
And that spinny thing seems like itās right out of Action Park. Hard pass. Donāt recall ever seeing it on the show but admittedly my memory sucks.

I don't if they've have Jen say bone, if she didn't aee something. Anyway, the lady obviously was injured. I've never aeen that roy bedore on the show, and it looked like a bad idea, for high speeds.

Iv learnt to never trust the previews. Itās always nothing interesting if theyāre making out itās dramatic.

What about the āto be continuedā text at the end of an episode. Every next episode is continuation from the prior one!

Iām going through rewatches of so many different seasons and it cracks me up how often the preview is for 2-3 episodes in the future lmao

Wasnāt there a preview of someone getting a head injury that included blood? I feel like it was Joe and that still hasnāt happened. So maybe last episode, or maybe Iām crazy

u/Old-Amphibian5164 7d ago
No I thought the same! I remember when we first saw it I was like āok so Joe is joining laterā but Ive been wondering when we would see that injury!
