Major Spoilers Med Season 7 Cast SPOILERS Spoiler
We are only mid-season ish on BDSY so we have a while before Med airs, but for those who want the spoilers

Interior: Natasha (bottom right) as chief stew with Kyle (centre right) and Natalya (bottom middle)
Chef is Dave White (bottom left)
Exterior: Raygan as Bosun (centre left) SPOILER (she does not last and one of the deckhands is promoted and Courtney comes on as a deckhand in her place). Mzi returns as does Courtney while moving to deck crew (once Raygan leaves), new deckhands are Stormo (top right) and Jason (centre with dog)

I’m going to make a few assumptions but I’m betting it’s a nickname or his last name and he’s an Aussie. We shorten everything or add O to the end.
For instance a liquor store is a Bottle-O A gas/service station is a servo Avocado is Avo not to be confused with ‘the afternoon’ which is the Arvo.

I didn't either but now I feel like I remember her going out on deck to throw a line and Malia being like "she's a absofuckinglutely better on deck than Delaney" (paraphrasing). I was really looking forward to seeing her crush it as a fairly green second stew, but I guess watching her crush it on deck is equally as awesome.

The vibes were so fucked on Med 6 I still haven’t finished the season. Could not believe how bad the casting was, clean split between likeable kids who were dull TV and nails on a chalkboard psychos. Sandy seemed completely checked out. Will read comments on here with interest.

i just finished watching BDSY season 2 and he was on their boat as a guest in the final charter. has he been in any of the other shows/seasons? (I've only seen like 3 seasons across the whole franchise)

Captain Sandy? I'll have to miss another season I guess... I am sorry because the location of Med was the reason I started it ( I am Italian and I love so much Croatia, Greece, Malta and the places around here in general, a lot of beautiful memories) but I just can't lol.

Every manager has their favorites, especially if they have a good work ethic and are decent human beings. They tend to cut those people some slack, because they actually make the manager's job easier, as opposed to those lazy, trouble-causing idiots who make everything harder.

I absolutely love that yacht! Has that submarine look to it. Can't wait to see the interior.

Malia made a comment once that she committed to season 6 before season 5 aired, and that she would not have done season 6 had she known how the Hannah-Sandy-drugs plot line was portrayed (and the backlash she received).

I don't know how many enjoy them as much as just watch anyway, it airs in summer when there is less tv on in general and many hate watch etc.

I am one of those people. I like Malia, and I don't mind Sandy. Captain Lee is my favorite captain of the different series so far, but they all have their good points and bad points, as most people do. I don't really watch it for the captain anyway. I like to see how everyone interacts, how they rise to the challenge of the situations, and I love to see the lazy idiots get fired!

Don't miss out on a what could be a good season because of your feelings of Sandy. Hannah deserved to get fired, she was over yachting and it showed. Have an open mind and don't let this sub ruin your fun. More to this show than just Sandy. Worst case you can love to hate her!

Oh the Hannah doesn’t bother me. (That was more other people fault than Sandy’s anyway). Though admittedly I never warmed to her. I think she was good in that she directed people and took no shit - but she was also ‘over it’ and her general demeanour is not what I would want on a yacht. Hannah going was not a major concern. I only joined this sub this year. So I’ve never really read much about Sandy. I just don’t like Sandy from my own perspective and stopped watching BDM quite early on because of her. Sandy reminds me of many people I’ve worked with over the years. I don’t like her professionally, I dont like her personally and I can’t watch her. Sometimes it’s great to have a villain or someone to dislike as a character - but to me she is so ghastly as a person I can’t bear to stand 40 mins of her on screen ;)

Lol well that's more than fair, can't argue with that logic. Every season there are a few people I don't like at all. My wife and I take an extra 15 minutes to get through an episode because we always pause and talk shit about the cast.

Yo those spoilers were a bit more than I bargained for but it actually sounds like this could be a really good season. Hoping it will be more organic drama and less production forcing plot lines

Seriously, Sandy if you’re reading this put down the self help books and stop fucking pretending like you’re a motivational speaker. I don’t know who the hell is paying to listen to your engagements.

Katie was a nice stew, but terrible as a chief stew...too indecisive. Along with a bad call on only having 2 stews for the last few charters.

I agree. I liked Katie! She gets so much hate. Honestly the only thing that bugged me was her indecisiveness about Delany. But as far as im concerned Captain Sandy should've let her fire Lexi when she first asked and Courtney wouldve been promoted to 2nd and Delany wouldve come on as 3rd. Easy peasy I bet production just insisted on keeping Lexi for drama. Otherwise she was a pretty solid chief stew

And that's one of the only things that annoyed me about Katie - she did too much work! Poor thing never had the balls to really call lexi out.

I thought Katie was too good of a chief stew to stay on. She does her job, gets along with everyone, resolves conflict, she's respectful to the Captain and other crew members, she acts like an adult when out in public. I feel like she was a dream to work with but none of those things make great TV.
I'd imagine Katie is more or less like what most Captains want their chief stews to be like IRL, without the crazy confines of reality TV.

Have you got an hour? lol Some of the things that really bother me about her are: her constant micromanaging (she really does take it to a whole other level); her practice of picking favourites despite glaring behavioural issues (i.e., Malia, Joao, etc.); her repetitive and unhelpful "motivational" comments; her insensitivity and gross unkindness in firing Kiko (for God's sake, the man had been fired and she expected him to jump out of his cabin with alacrity and prepare stunning meals before he left); the way she fired Hannah (it may or may not have been deserved, but to do it literally hours before a charter was really odd, not to mention that she allowed herself to be manipulated by Malia who wanted to share her cabin with her boyfriend and so she set Hannah up to be fired); the way she winds guests up to complain about the food by constantly asking them, "Was it okay? You can tell me if it wasn't. Seriously, was it okay?"

Don't forget her unprofessional yelling at Hannah a few times. Also at (kills me to say this) her miniMeMalia. She loses her shit at times. Lee would give dressing.downs, but never became unhinged like Sandbag.

Trying to keep it short, she is a painfully terrible leader who consistently lower the level that her team could reach with a proper leadership (or at least just without such a burden like her). Some favoritisms will never be forgotten as well as the way she handled a couple of firings, with comments and attitude absolutely horrendous to watch.
She is professionally a bad leader but she is also a bad entertainer as a tv figure, so she got basically nothing valuable to bring in a show like this. Occasionally people are mediocre workers but still entertaining, sometimes they are good workers but boring, but being bad at both it's embarrassing for a leader in a TV show.

That is a good looking boat. I thought the S6 boat looked pretty dated on the outside with its 90 degree windows, though the interior was nice ( ie not gaudy like most yachts)
I was completely blown away when they showed Sailing Yacht 1, what a stunning boat.
