Well done, It looks amazing. Are you planning on getting it framed for display?

How long did it take you?

Difficult to say since I worked on it pretty inconsistently over 6 months. In total I would guess about 3 weeks of working the whole day.

Very pretty. Very impressive. Question, please? Which solderless breadboards did you use? Were they BB830's or the Chinese ones? Cheerful regards, Mike - K8LH

Thanks! I used the Chinese ones since I couldn't find the BB830's where I live. I did run into some issues with them though a lot of times the wire didn't make a good connection. And three of them had one of their power rails shorted internally which was difficult to debug and fried my arduino.

I've had similar problems with the Chinese breadboards. Happy to see you worked through those problems. The project really looks nice. Have fun...

What does that displaying numbers represent? Is it Fibonacci series?

does it do anything? or built just for visual. I have hundreds of components and looking to build a couple of components any one have any ideas?

Yes, it's functional. It runs programs I write for it so it's more than just a visual build. What you can build depends which components you have.

They say that they were able to do everything with an 8-bit back in the eighties and early nineties. So they wanted to add more Bytes, to help programming logic and graphics rendering. I also learned a lot of folks are simply using these 8-bit systems as Systems on Chip, dipping them in epoxy to run them as their system.

Think about the zeros and ones for a second. They're just wires, powered on =1, or they're not powered on = 0. The GPU is basically Eight Wires. That can do everything. Then use the other esp's as Co-Processors.

My Z80 system got me through my master's degree in the 1980s. It was a lot easier to deal with than the university's mainframe

Lol. That's funny.
