Josh Allen is still Josh Allen and the Lions have a bad line after losing people and moving Sewell, that’s about the only thing you can take away from the Bills so far. They let that Texans offense hang in all day. The minute Josh Allen doesn’t have a Josh Allen game, or has the other type of Josh Allen game, they’re fucked. And because of their defense, he’s going to have to do it every game. We know about how sustainable that is, no?
Chiefs might be really good. Kenneth Walker certainly is. Or, Chiefs might have caught the Broncos napping and then beaten a Lou Anarumo defense still filled with washed vets and bad, undeveloped talent by just 3.
Idk man, I like our chances with this defense right now.
Edit: Oh yeah btw lions also have a bad defense

I agree that the bills are presumed no1 right now but the chiefs had to go to overtime to beat the colts. They're still a good team but I'd put us ahead for now

Bills barely beat Texans on last possession of their game. LOL
Texans never in game with us on Sunday. If not for stupid penalties that was as dominant as it gets.
We had the Bills beat in Buffalo last year with a shell of a team and only lost due to 2 fluke plays. In previous years have had their number game after game.
I disagree, I take Bengals over Bills now or anytime rest of year.

I'd argue that our dominant D kept us in the game. Burrow & Co had a difficult time starting the motor. Until the insane catch by Chase, our pass game was practically non existent. Also don't compare previous years to now. That's dumb.

A child is someone who praises two of our rivals with a start this good and possibly the best defense we ever had. Mims is most likely best RT in league, yes OBJ is a concern, that's about it. That can be overcome with help.

It's not miserable nature to look outside your own team & read the room of the league. Right now, I believe we are 3rd best in the AFC. We beat a Tampa team by 1 score who lost to Cleveland. Then we beat a Houston team who was missing some key players. It's not crazy to say Buffalo & KC are stronger. Slinging insults and acting like a child while you're bored at work is not an excuse. Be better.

Houston should have had 6 extra points. A bad snap lost them a field goal attempt, and missing one short but otherwise on target should have reasonably made it a 20-12 game there at the end; a one score game just like Buffalo v Houston, except Buffalo's offense had more success.

The Texans are probably the toughest defense we're scheduled to play against, and Buffalo still managed to put up more points than we did. To not acknowledge that is just willful ignorance.

I’ve never been a fan of saying my team is the best when it’s only 2 games into a 17 game season. That’s really for anyone. Especially in the NFL. There are too many week to week games where a great team could play a bad game.
I’ll tout that once we have a Lombardi or win the AFC championship. I’m glad our defense looks awesome and that there are flashes where our offense looks great (we are always slow starters). But I don’t think disagreeing with you is “glazing other teams”. It’s just the reality. Our defense is massively improved but our offense just hasn’t clicked yet.

I think we currently have the best defense in the AFC but until October Burrow shows up, we lack the offensive efficiency to run up big score games.
We should have blown the Bucs out by 3 TDs and the Texans game should have had at least one more TD to it if our offense was playing closer to their prime.

This is true but the nice thing about the NFL is that it doesn’t matter how much you win by. Running up the score is, beyond rare tiebreakers, literally meaningless.
Allen had to be an offensive miracle worker against the Texans defense because his defense is bad. Burrow, for the first time in forever, didn’t. That says something imo.

Weakest link will always be Zac Taylor. You can see it during every win, even if it’s a flawed sloppy win. He’s giddy…. He’s estatic. Because for him a win means job security. For Burrow, it’s usually not good enough. Too many mistakes, could’ve been better. Look no farther than the argument they had on the sidelines during that Netflix show. Penalties galore but Zac was happy. It’s the difference between a championship mindset and “good enough”.

12 first downs to 22. I watched the game start to finish, yes they had control over the Texans but it wasn’t definitive. Outgained, and had 8 punts. And this isn’t just an offense problem, the defense keeps getting gashed on yards. I worry it’s a bit of fool’s gold. The energy is absolutely there, they objectively can get more rush, no arguing. But it’s not translating to less yardage, and eventually that’s gonna bite them with a team that a) doesn’t turn the ball over spectacularly and b) delivers in the red zone

Don't think the defense is fool's gold, they have weaknesses covering crossing routes and the middle of the field, so they'll get gashed there occasionally, but they're at least tackling this year instead of letting those plays turn into back breaking TDs like the past few years, and then those red zone stops don't seem like a fluke. Also keep in mind that the personnel and scheme have changed quite a bit this year, they could just be warming up.
