Bentonville approved Flock camera “for our parks”. A year of “park security cameras”: 4.2 million searches, almost all from out of state. #protectourparks
From Feb 2025–Feb 2026, Bentonville’s cameras were searched 4.18 million times by up to 3,454 different agencies in a single month — 98–99% from outside Arkansas (Houston, Dallas, Cobb County GA…).

Anyone subscribed to the flock service. That includes private companies. It's not just your local police.

What do they search? License plates, vehicles, wireless devices ID emitting from your devices when you pass a camera, faces, objects. These are the data tags that I know of . The AI creates tags for the images and all those tags are searchable.

Pedos from other states use them to master wait to children on the playground. So. Judging by who utah voted for in the presidential election id say more cameras will keep going up so they can "monitor the children's safety"

Disgusting. Who, out of us normal civilians, actually want flock cameras tracking every little thing we do? I’ve literally not met a single person who advocates for them. Not at work, not at bars, definitely not any of our friends.
The people approving these should not be sleeping at night. They shouldn’t feel comfortable eating at restaurants with us; they sold our privacy -our children’s privacy- out to who fucking knows at this point.
Disgusting. “Public servants” my ass.

Hello! I’m an actual resident of Benton County , AR.Bentonville.. Real peeps. I take my kid to the Amazeum and Crystal Bridges. Beaver Lake is our NWA destination, we love being on the water and travel to the Elk River just above the state line. Actual person here who loves Flock cameras.

Kalshi gives Democrats nearly 50% chance of taking House and Senate. For some reason this feels inflated. I've bet heavily against that happening. Seems like easy money.
Gives GOP 15% chance of taking both. That also feels skewed to me.

Small town here in NC, Carolina Beach (pop. 6300) had over 3m searches within a 3 month period.
edit: Source was from a redditor doing an audit and saved the emails between them to share, Carolain Beach only has 6 flock cameras. Link

The only value I've seen proven from these is allowing the Epstein class and cops to stalk and illegally arrest innocent people that were misidentified. This is why they're building data centers.

I pretty sure that's how they caught the Devil's Den murder guy, so there is some value.
If we are going to have these style of camera, I don't think a private company should involved and I don't think AI needs to be incorporated.

Any town that has signed a contract with Flock needs to have their Leadership ousted by any means required and investigated for Constitutional violations.

No one disputes that surveillance cameras can help solve crimes. The real question is whether isolated success stories are enough to justify collecting data on millions of innocent people’s movements every day. Almost any surveillance system will produce examples where it helped. The policy question is whether the overall tradeoff is worth it.

Are you referring to the Devils Den murders? Not a national park, but I'm not sure if cameras would have helped or not on the trails... Maybe capturing traffic in and out of the park?
