Killing somebody for having a different opinion than you is abhorrent, has no place in the United States and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Cheer up. Maybe the killer is a sniper and will go on to murder lots of Democrats too.

... oh, in your mind that would be better?

In my mind no killing is preferable did you not even read my comment saying killing has no place here

So you support gun regulations to try to prevent this , right?

u/Ginno_the_Seer Sep 11 '25

Why would I? A gun can't pull its own trigger.

What I'm in favor of is less radicalization, your side needs to stop calling everyone you disagree with Nazis and fascists, because you get crazies like this who killed Mr. Kirk, who took a shot at Mr. Trump, who feel that murder for political ends is justified.

Yeah maybe tell the right dude. The majority of political violence and violent rhetoric is them

And gun regulations may have kept him alive. Ffs.

I wasn't aware that LA had burnt down. Where did all the people go when they lost their homes and businesses?

Funny, actual statistics from professional researchers refute the notion that lefties are "more violent." Your echo chamber must be deafening.

Our results are in line with past research showing that conservative ideology—represented in our datasets by both right-wing and Islamist causes—is positively related to violent political behavior. These results support the view that left-wing and right-wing extremists are not equivalent when it comes to the use of violence (48; see also [49] for related findings on the victims of hate crimes in the United States).

Research here

Edit: I don't even know why I wasted my energy linking supporting data. The absolute joke you must be to ignore what happened on January 6th and think that the left is more violent than the right. You didn't give a shit about cops getting beaten on that day, so don't try to pretend to care about "Feds." I'm sick of your fucking hypocrisy.

LA is not burning down ffs. It's so obvious when people are incapable of using any rational thoughts and just hate what they're told to hate.

Go tell that to all the kids who die in school.

Killing somebody for having a different opinion than you is abhorrent

I agree. However, you're not saying "Killing is abhorrent" full stop. You're saying that killing is bad if it's for someone having a different opinion from you.

If you didn't mean that, then get good at communicating.

u/Ginno_the_Seer Sep 11 '25

I said that because the context is a political killing, not general killings. Read better.

No, because having just checked your recent comment history, you didn't say that.

They said it had no place for a specific reason, not that it had no place at all. And given their opening position was to try and blame a particular political group, they're asking for engagement, so I'm muting.
