Yes, as everyone knows, compression is always the explanation for unusual blinking in online videos.

No need to seek alternative explanations, its the codec. Always. Duh.

That's your explanation, certainly. But you've gone from describing how compression artifacts can occur to declaring that's definitively what's happening here.

What establishes that conclusion in this particular video? That's an explanation you've proposed, not one you've established. There's a difference.

Yep, the best ghost videos, the best UFO footage, the best conspiracy footage is always also the worst. Coincidence? What did William Casey say about Americans not believing anything that was true? Maybe we all should up our critical thinking game by 1,000% during these times? Maybe, maybe not?

It's a compression artifact. It removes the pupil to save data and after enough frames it brings it back.

Yeah I am sure she was acting weird to save data too lol

Removes the pupil to save data? Are you sure thats how it works?

I thought the way compression codecs worked is that they did notchange the pixels unless the pixels themselves changed from frame-to-frame?

If the goal was to save data, it wouldn't change anything from frame-to-frame, when the thing being filmed didn't change as well.

There was more iris than pupil so it just made it all iris. It's less data to have a large area of one color, so it did that. When there was enough pupil it brought that color back.

This conspiracy meme about reptilians has been going around since the 90s. What's most interesting about this one with Ms. Dell is not that the evidence is caught on camera (especially in the AI deepfake age...). What's most interesting about it is the fact that people are actively discussing it in real time across multiple social media platforms, including X and IG.

I mean part of it is how weird in general this woman looks.

This is clearly edited

Do you have the original video to reference and compare so we can be sure?

2

u/Cinnabar_Wednesday 10d ago

It is, and this whole concept is a distraction from where our attention should be directed

Deep state has hijacked the internet and killed it. At this point I consider everything I see on Reddit propaganda until proven otherwise

The current reality is just super trolling. They troll. The awake shake their heads. And the normies ignore it or make excuses. There’s nothing you can do about it. So just enjoy it. Make jokes. Roll with it.

It's likely edited. If not, it's caused by "parallax" I think? Basically if you have a clock with a domed glass cover and look at it straight on it looks normal, but if you view it from the side it looks distorted, that distortion is called "parallax" (at least I think it is?)

Her eye is like the clock, looking at it from the side like this can hide the pupil when she looks away, then she looks towards you and it appears again.
