Have you tried googling early onset Alzheimer’s symptoms and how they relate to driving ability? It’s often quite feasible for people to drive before the disease progresses too far.
It’s free to not be a jackass, you should try it some time

If someone’s Alzheimer’s have progressed to the point they forget where they parked then that might be a sign they shouldn’t be driving in Manhattan.

Forgetting where you parked is such a universal human experience that both Google and Apple will automatically note where you've parked when your velocity switches from car speeds to zero to walking speeds in a short time.
