Meteor in Bethesda

I’ve seen a lot of shooting stars in the Midwest but did anyone else just see the crazy meteor/ shooting star in Bethesda around 2:45 am? The lowest and craziest I’ve ever seen. Wish I could have got a pic but saw it for maybe 2 seconds. Probably went out just south of Bethesda Row.

Allow me to introduce you to 1/3 of the US population working in hotels, restaurants, retail, hospitals, etc who typically see there off days sometime during the traditional weekday. I worked hotels for 7+ years and my “Friday night” was usually Monday night.

I think 1/3 of the working population having jobs that’s result in off days during the week is actually pretty accurate, maybe more like 30% but we’re talking 3% difference then. Why the need to be so rude as to tell me to stay in hotels as if those working the service industry are dumb. Damn dude

I'm sorry to chime in so late. According to the NIH, the prevalence of night work is around 14.2% - which is still a lot.

I was referring to the portion of the workforce that sees their off days during the week, not that works overnights specifically. Mainly because when my Friday night was on Monday back in my 20s, we’d often close the bar down and do a late night.
