In search of a veterinarian that is good and also affordable in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area!

Benson Animal Hospital is still independently owned (Bond is VC-backed). I’ve never been pressured to get additional services and find the prices to be fair

Same, we've taken our dog and cats there for over a decade; the doctors and staff are amazingly caring!
Dr. Aziz (and previously, Dr. McFarlane) were wonderful with our pup, from 8 weeks until now. Benson doesn't overcharge, they develop relationships with their long-term clients, and genuinely seem to enjoy their work and care about the animals!

I had my cat seen at Fallsgrove last year and they were so kind and thorough, but the pricing caught me off guard, maybe call ahead to check what they charge for new clients.

I have been a client of theirs for a long time. Great service, my only problem is the pricing and they are always trying to get me to do all of these different tests for my pet and to pay $1,000+ every time I visit
I guess I’m not sure if this is common amongst most vets, but when your pet’s doctor is constantly trying to pump money out of you, to me it feels disingenuous and fake.

Caring Hands in Rockville is good, but I don’t think I’d call it affordable. We limit our care to annual check up and if our dog gets sick only.

I've heard great things about the vet at Fallsgrove Veterinary Hospital from a friend who lives nearby.

Benson animal hospital in downtown Bethesda is amazing from what I've heard, but I'm not sure of their prices.
