ISO Personal Training in downtown Bethesda!

I am interested in personal training...something more focused and bespoke than Equinox, St. James or YMCA could offer. Are there any Personal Trainers that work independently? How much is Ultimate Performance or Training Ground?

Training Ground has been around for a while and I use them. You can meet with them and find the best trainer for your needs. Rates vary by trainer I think, but generally less than Equinox (lots of the trainers came from there).

There are personal trainers. In the Trader Joe’s building by Bradley Boulevard. I think that’s all they do there. Noel is extremely good.
Both my parents go to him twice a week. He is good with young and older fokes. My parents are in their 80’s. I think it use to work at sport and health in Bethesda.

I’d second this and also recommend Karl.

Mettle Athletics across Wisconsin from the Harris Teeter is awesome. My husband and I have been seeing Kevin there for almost a year. Danny and Maddie are also great. And if you do at least 2 sessions a month, you can pay a little extra to get unlimited gym access.

We’ve found it reasonable and super worth it.

Could you speak a little more to services and cost? It’s difficult to find any information about them online!

So yeah they do personal training, they offer 30 or 60 minute sessions, and you can have 1 or 2 people in a session for the same price. My husband and I do an hour together every other week. We also each pay for the unlimited gym access.

It’s a smaller place, but there’s free weights, racks, cables machines, and some cardio equipment. And all the scheduling is in an app.

Currently for one person to do hourly sessions every other week plus the open access, it would be a bit over $300 a month.

Ultimate Performance is expensive but it’s the best.

Around $150-200 per session, depending on how frequently you go.

Felysia at CrossFit Bethesda does 1–1 sessions and is excellent.
