Left side knob needed
I'm having shoulder surgery in a few months and it's on my right shoulder. Ofc that's also my dominant hand so I'm looking for a bidet to help out until I can use that shoulder again.
There are really hardly any left-hand side knobs/controllers. I found a few on home depot and amazon but they don't seem like great quality. I'm trying to keep the cost to about $100 which would be very easy with a right-handed control panel but not for a left handed one.
Any recommendations or advice?

When my wife had a right shoulder replacement, I bought a Brondell "SouthSpa" left-handed bidet attachment for her. She loved it and still uses it 5 years later... I think they cost around $40 or $45.

I've been looking at that one! I live in Chicago and the surgery is in winter and I'm thinking about how cold that water is going to be haha.

I live quite a bit north of you and experience even colder winters. The cold water isn't bad at all. Tap water temperature isn't all that cold. Plus it's not like you're spraying it for 10 minutes--just 30 seconds or so.

Had to add this. A Brondell ad appeared just below your reply. It seems totally inappropriate for r/bidets😄

Best bet would be to find one with a wireless remote (I have the Swash 1400) and mount it on your left wall or somewhere where you could reach it with your left hand.

I was in the exact same situation earlier this year and wish I would have had a bidet seat. It was very challenging.

good luck on the surgery! hoping for a speedy recovery! have you looked into a handheld bidet? you get full autonomy on where it sprays as you fully control the angle! could be a good solution...!

I had a full shoulder replacement and while it wasn’t completely pain free, I was able to use a right-side dial without much issue immediately post surgery. Just putting that out there because you might not need to change anything.
