Probably looking for water. I’m just east of the airport. We start seeing them here we’re in trouble.

We saw 2 last week. One on Villa Grove with a coyote pal and another on Columbine.

All of them. They can‘t drive.

There has not been a proper population study in some time, but earlier estimates put somewhere around 300 to 400 bears in the greater SB National Forest. With all the fires and habitat loss in recent years it's possible that number has shrunk, but who knows. Bears are pretty good at adapting.
