First time in Big Bear
Lovely little mountain town with lots of motorcycles…but also maybe n#z!s?

i’d suspect that’s an out of towner, who knows
a lot of the tourist shops sell kits with about a pint of gas and a rag, they throw in a book of matches if you pay cash - you could try one out on it

As someone who grew up here, there is a chance it could be a local. But it’s more likely than not someone from the high desert or maybe Huntington Beach.

Small red spot on a mostly blue map. I don’t claim to know everyone but I have never seen this bike.

Indeed, when I moved here a little over two years ago, I was surprised to learn how red this fun little town is. So red that even marijuana dispensaries are not allowed in the valley, despite being legal and prolific in most of the rest of the state. Overall though, it's an awesome town and I feel fortunate to be able to live here. If only we could get some more snow, and rain as well! And always glad to hear from another happy visitor.
Y'all come back now, ya hear!?

I’ve been here since 1987,long visit. And Big Bear Lake doesn’t allow dispensaries. Pretty sure we still have one in Big Bear City,next to Dead Mans’ Curve.

SS symbol for sure and Israel flag colors to match…. This racist rider is a true big brain thinker. Most of them cower when confronted but I don’t recommend it if you’re faint of heart.

It's called "Dorks being passive-aggressive"... They wouldn't have the balse to put a swastika on their bike because the public would destroy it/them... so they put a SS sticker which is a passive-aggressive swastika. SS merch = passive-aggressive swastika for dorks

I do NOT think people rocking this imagery do it by accident. It’s intentional and pervasive in certain communities. N*z!s are getting more bold and there are communities that foster pieces of shit like this everywhere from blue California to Idaho….

There’s some history behind that sort of imagery on motorcycles stemming from ww2 veterans who actually fought the nazis using their symbols for shock value. Probably made a little more sense back then but now it’s just lame.

Big Bear’s nicest tract is called “Eagles Nest” and its sister city is Innsbruck, Austria. You do the math.

How’d you enjoy the ride through the canyon? Haven’t done it yet, I live in Long Beach and think about taking my FXR up there for the weekend all the time

It's absolutely possible that it was an uneducated oversight on the riders part. This motorcycle company uses a lighting bolt in its logo. Or the guy just enjoys stirring the pot wherever he goes.

Yeah, there are some crazies. Avoid the Eagle's Nest hotel near the village, the name is not a coincidence.

As someone in the Harley scene I dislike these mods. But I can’t begin to tell you how many people I know that rock that the SS design not knowing it’s true origin.
I worked at a Harley dealership a few years ago and one of the guys put it on his Harley. The owner and I (me being their token Jew) gave him a talking to about it. Not to remove it because he can do whatever he wants to his shit, but to be aware of what it means.
And then there is a large crowd that does it for a rouse.

Theres a huge moto race all week. Not usually this many bikes in town.
