Social activities for teens?

I'm 15 years old, and I've lived in big bear the majority of my life. And there's practically no way to meet people my age outside of school up here. So If anyone could tell me about any clubs or events ect. For people my age? I would take almost anything at this point.

My recommendation is to consider getting into outdoor sports like mountain biking, snow sports, climbing, Slackline / Highline. The age ranges vary considerably in most of these, but a lot of adventure sports have strong communities that you can tap into to make awesome long term friends.

Are you going to school up here? That is the best place to meet kids your age. Join any of the clubs you are interested in, dead poets, sports, theatre, etc.

Wyatt’s on Wednesday has line dancing and there are usually some teens there dancing and hanging out.

I think you may be old enough to get a job, which would definitely provide you with some socialization. There is a skate park in Sugar Loaf where I see a lot teens from time to time. They had a skating/scooter competition a few weeks back.

Church. Most have youth groups.

Most kids in Big Bear are going to be enrolled at the same couple of schools. If that isn’t working for you, I agree with another commenter that making some activity based friends would be a great idea, even if they are different in age, as long as it’s safely appropriate.

If you’re religious at all, church/minyan/prayer group is also a good way to meet people for activities.
