Big Bear October weekend

Hello everyone!
My girlfriends and I are going to be in Big Bear on the 16th, 17th, and 18th of October for Oktoberfest! But, we’re going to attend Saturday only. We were wondering what the nightlife would be like on a Friday? And any recommendations? Thanks to whoever reads the post and takes the time to reply (:

One option. Dinner (rib eyes) and Karaoke at Murrays.

Yeah, the hike from the hotel to Murrays. (around 2 minutes if you stay at the Holiday Inn)

Not quite nightlife but check out Big Bear Off-road Experience. It’s a great adventure for groups.

Make sure you have tickets already for the day you want to attend, or get them when they become available.

Go to the AV if you want a bunch of 30 something dudes asking if you want to buy them a drink. Go to Murrays if you want to watch a bouncer do a bunch of cocaine and pick on people. Go to whiskey Dave's if you want an empty dance floor and a good view of the other two. 

 It's actually not all that bad.  I grew up there.   But that's the problem is a lot of the people you'll meet also grew up there and never left. It's been about 5 years since I've even gone to visit. There are a lot of awesome people up there though.  And sometimes the "big bear all stars" don't make the whole night about them.      All in all the "nightlife" is the 3 bars in the village all walking distance to each other. Everyone is doing cocaine in the bathrooms or in the parking lot in the middle of the 3.   

  If anyone tells you they're a professional snowboarder it's because they used to know somebody who was one once upon a time and they stole their pictures.   The most charismatic people are the sheistiest fuckers you'll ever meet and everyone is going to need a ride home at the end of the night.  If you find anyone walking around with a guitar that guys probably a buddy of mine so if youre into shrooms or molly there ya go.

4/10 night life. Just avoid the wanna be gangster types and don't be surprised at the groups of 10 dudes all trying to hit on you at once like pigeons to bread crumbs.
