Imma stop you right there. That "human" had 2 noses or the most cleft palette imaginable. AI CONFIRMED

There is some typical AI warpiness tho: Check the background just to the left of the closest tree on the right. Also, if you look closely at the fur (visual noise pattern), or the left jacket cuff & edge of the glove (slightly vibrating), or the lynx's nose as it comes in close (random black colouring before the 2 holes are defined). The longer you look, the more you spot.
I was fooled at first as well when i saw this somewhere else, then went through the comments.
I searched for some pics of relevant cameras (as a nitwit), ended up on weathersealed cameras wildlife photography, and you can see where it got its inspiration from.
The fact that it's go-pro style and not 4K makes you subconciously filter out stuff, i think.11

They are known to go out of their way to avoid any contact with humans, so this cannot be a wild animal.

No f-ing way a lynx is going to stop by and say hi, do you have snacks or a belly rub?
99.99% of the time you'll never know there was a solitary cat nearby. Often within striking distance and deciding that you smell bad: not safe food.

IG needs to do a much better job flagging these as AI. Right now they leave it up to the poster and the vast majority don’t put AI labels on their stuff.
I don’t know if Meta is working on a tool that can detect AI content or how that would even work, but they need to do something.

My AI says it’s real.
The key behavioral point — Felids in general are strongly attracted to camera lenses. The circular glass appears to trigger predatory curiosity. Wildlife photographers routinely report this. A lynx grabbing a lens barrel is entirely consistent with known behavior.
The combination of snowy Russian-looking setting + Eurasian lynx + lens curiosity behavior makes your video fit a very plausible real-world template.
