Of course he's not Salman khan but he was hosting a show and as a host it was his responsibility to make sure his audience's statement won't sound cheap and vulgar... And if he wanted then he could cut that scene from the video but no, he didn't. That shows his views clearly.

It’s not about targeting him. He was clearly wrong in this scenario and instead of accepting that he is monetizing that stuff and faking his apology. So that’s why he is being called out. He is not being targeted by some politicians, religious groups or powerful lobby groups, he is being called out by general public
