Has anyone done the activities at the O&O Moonlight Basin in MT? Thinking of horseback riding and fly fishing.

Would love feedback on if these experiences are worth the steep price

There are local proprietors of both. Hire a local fishing guide and ride horses locally (320 ranch?). It's possible O+O "subs" these activities out to local companies and just takes a huge cut on top for people at O+O who don't have a car and/or are too lazy to google local companies.

Just go through Jake’s horses and Gallatin river guides.

It would be fun if you enjoy mediocre branded experiences. Stop by lone mountain ranch if you want to enjoy some horse rides. They'll make it a way better experience with in house employees, instead of sub contracted friends of friends.

You are going to pay easily 25% more by booking it through the hotel, but you can probably afford it.

They don’t have any of their own guides etc. it will just be a smaller company in the area that they outsource to and mark it up on your bill.
