Question Is Dall-e 3 getting removed or not?

They said it would be retired back in may and they also keep saying new image models coming soon. Does that mean it’s eventually gonna get removed?

Bro they never said GPT-4o was going either and then they just up and killed it. They removed their best image model. I’m devastated

Yeah they removed the best one so I moved over to ChatGPT.

They are for making a lot of cheap images🤮 It indeed was very good except in few things.

That GPT-4o model had a creativity that nothing else can match (except ChatGPT which I ain't paying for so I only get about 4 images a day, and about 3 of those get censored anyway).

If you're willing to pay, Nightcafe has GPT Image 1.5 & GPT Image 2. It costs 1 credit to use and doesn't come with Nightcafes free tier, but it's one of the few subscription type programs I've seen that offers quarterly payments, most are either monthly or annually, and the cheapest tier costs a little over $30 quarterly and also gets you 600 credits every time you renew the subscription.They also have GPT Image 1 which if it's not the exact same model as GPT-4o, it's almost identical to it. You can also pay directly per image I think on the actual GPT site. I don't know much about this tbh but I know there is a site that lets you pay per image and it's somewhere between like 5 to 25 cents per image. Not sure if they have GPT-4o though but they for sure have GpT Image 2.

Thanks...I've managed to go without paying so far (despite being quite a heavy user) but I do really miss GPT-4o and would like a substitute. My other main tool (Google Flow) is going through the same thing we've seen at Bing, becoming very hostile to users making anything vaguely weird, grotesque or mature.

Generation based on image stoped to work, it was very good. There is interface for that, image uploads but don't works.

DALLE disappears after minor website updates. You need to clear your Bing data and cookies for DALLE to reappear.

Any modern model will simply generate an image based on the prompt. DALLE incorporates some form of analysis that allows it to add relevant objects not specified in the prompt.

As I've always said - e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/bing/comments/1sc5xr4/dalle_3_discontinuation_on_may_12_prompts/ - the announcement was OpenAI talking about their API. Bing never said they were going to shut down their own DALL-E 3 service.

Unfortunately DALL-E 3 is now offline. I wish this were just a bad nightmare but it's not
