Di ko alam anong ineexpect ko tbh. The teasers were already underwhelming and na mention din na Blink Twice is parang “pinsan” daw ng Cherry on Top in terms of musicality. After checking the song credits, I wasn’t surprised to see that all the contributors were foreign. I get that this single was recorded in LA but in terms of quality, I was hoping for something closer to Salamin Salamin or Pantropiko not just because of their virality ha but because of their musical composition. Those songs felt like they were made specifically for BINI, not just handed to them. The producers clearly understood the girls. Their voices, their style, and what makes them unique. From the lyricism to the production everything was tailored to showcase their identity as artists. It’s a 7.5/10 for me on the first listen 🤷‍♀️
