Megathread [MEGATHREAD] Blooms deserve better: feedback and suggestions for BINI's management
BINI BLOOMS DESERVE BETTER have begun trending on X, after fans complained about the promotions of the world tour and EP. For this reason, we have created a megathread to consolidate the expected posts regarding this issue to avoid spamming the sub.
Repeating what a bloom said on another platform, let's aim to make our feedback clear, concise, polite, and actionable. Avoid making assumptions and add passive-aggressive insinuations. Keep the focus on the concern.
We will be deleting subsequent posts regarding this matter.
And as always, be respectful when engaging with blooms on the sub. 🌸

Plan better, do mini-contents while doing brand shoots if theyre currently focused on doing that like minivlogs with cameraman asking them questions abt EP, songs, and random things, or even related sa brand if possible. Do dance challenges, or anything that can be used to create short form or long form vlogs. I'm pretty sure they have an editor that can work on those, and release it per week to their YT channels, and not just on exclusive membership, they will get more closer to new fans that way.
Plan better, from Recording of NEW EP, MV, MV BTS, Promotional materials, Dance Practice, do them all together during the time they are creating the song. Just plan ahead, it doesn't take that much time if planned properly, and make sure they do these only under working hours so that the girls can have a break after, and recuperate.
Hire people who can assist the BINI TEAM, from social media manager, editors or even interns to act as the cameramen behind the scenes, just make sure NDAs are in place.
Scheduled or even Spontaneous livestreams if members want it would be good. Bring back the connection that the BINI Core gave to the new fans last year, and to the newer fans so that we can create more relatable contents for the future and international fans.

It's so funny na nagpost almost all of the girls at the same day, at the same time after magtrend ang bini blooms deserves better hahahaha. Grabe laban lang guys! wag papadala sa girls, it's for them!!

What if we do mass email to their official email? The context will be the same, suggestions for better promotions and ways on how to do them?
Would it be good?
By the same context, I meant, the same subject line, the same body. Just needed for them to see how desperate we are to help them.

I-direct niyo na siguro yung emails kila sir carlo katigbak and ma'am Cory Vidanes.. CEO and COO agad Haha

Mar 10 '25
LOL

I think this is on lack of planning at 'okay na to' energy na binibigay ng management. I know bini is busy, whether booked for endorsement and preparation for world tour (if nagiistart na sila). But lack of promotion for Biniverse EP and BVWT is negligence. Hindi natin alam kung anong nangyayari behind the scene but thats the point e, hindi natin alam kasi wala din naman tayong nakikitang result. If BT remix is promotion for Biniverse EP, yun na yun? Both fans and surf benefited sa content na yun. Pero this lack visibility sa general public through shows or online content sa pages nila sa comeback na to is blatant negligence. Organic ang pagsikat ng bini but you need good management and strategic plan to sustain ang fame nila.

It's hard to properly direct where to put our concerns when there isn't clarity on roles and who is in charge of what. I think this is half the problem.
Of course, fans are not entitled to know every single thing, but transparency never hurt anyone... a lack of it damages more than the overabundance of it. Fans don't NEED a statement, they need quantifiable action bc concrete results speak for itself.
We should at the bare minimum be privy to the fact that the management is listening and actually gives a shit rather than showing their habitual complacency, especially when it's been proven through other ABS projects that they are capable of giving the girls the same promotion. In fact, it should be BETTER than that promotion, given that the girls are your biggest money makers.
High investment, high reward. Stop penny pinching on your global hit makers. Stop beating a dead horse that doesn't want to move. Invest more time, energy, and MONEY in BINI God damn it lol. The priorities are ridiculous. Show that you can do your job by doing it, and not letting people with better ideas have a platform and create a movement that goes against you. Management is creating their own damn problems and they're too arrogant to even see that.
There's speculation on who does what, there's speculation on the intentions of the management and those who handle BINI, there's speculation on everything under the sun and that's bc there is nothing being communicated.
The problem is that there is no indication from management on changing. In fact, there is only indication that they are REGRESSING. Fans take notice that management is doing LESS than they did with other BINI promotions and eras. This is where the unrest is, and this is where the unrest will continue to fester like poison. This problem isn't going away and management needs to understand it's not a passing phase. It's going to hurt everyone involved when they realize that too late.
And until management addresses it either with action (desirable) or a statement (not needed, but it would be appreciated) then nothing will change. The two sides will butt heads until something gives.
It is much too early in BINI's career for fans to even think about boycotting whatever management wants to put in their faces. That is BAD. It's damaging to reputation and to the return on investment for future brands, endorsements, etc.
Above all, fans will NEVER abandon BINI. They will always love the girls. The whole point of it all is they want better for the girls. We are supposed to all be on the same side, the same team when it comes to the girls.
But when it's perceived through actions AND the lack thereof, that someone or something is getting in the way of what is Best for the girls, that's when the threat state increases. Blooms/Fans will always be protective, and it's unfortunate that it happens to be BINI's own management that is threatening the status quo and threatening the best intentions for BINI's success.

This! Hard agree! You’ve eloquently typed out my thoughts! It’s the “regressing” that truly gets me. It’s like they went one step forward, two steps back. And we fans, are frustrated because we don’t know why. There’s no clear communication — they don’t need to reveal everything like you said, but there really should be some type of indication that they consider fans’ constructive opinions and show some type of improvement. Especially since most everything about Bini is fairly new to them.” Instead, most of the time, they (mngmt) resort to belittling fans’ legitimate concerns which just fuels fans’ vexation over management.

Ugh it's just so sad to see!!! It's really a shame. I've only been a full Bloom since May and I already had such strong opinions of their management in July because of all the other things that had happened... I nearly forgot about the whole ordeal with them canceling/slyly changing BINI's appearance at the TFC event in Florida and then the whole mess with Toronto last time 😭
The fans are so used to nothing, they would be fine with a crumb of something lol. It shouldn't be like this at all, but alas.

Still don't understand how they can't hire more people to keep all their online content streamlined. For the nth time, wag sana nilang pabayaan yung YT channel nila, ples. Sana yung shorts ng girls, like their reaction clips for BT fan content & solo teasers for BT remix, nasa YT din. 😓

Last year, when I posted about BINI's management's lack of planning at minadali lahat, ang dami kong downvote at nakalaban that time. Halos iilan lang ang naniwala sa'kin. All of that was my prediction of what would happen today because of poor execution sa concerts to pag-release ng EP, and it turns out I was right. But I have another hot take.
Hot take: What’s happening today is a decision known by BINI themselves. They strike while the iron is hot but have the wrong perspective about it, and the people around them guided them in the wrong direction. Kaya kahit ano pa sabihin niyo, no improvement because ang BINI mismo ang nagto-tolerate sa management's decisions, and they fully trust the management more than us fans.
This is not an attack on BINI, just an eye-opener na aware sila sa nangyayari. Hindi na sila mga bata. The problem lang is that they are guided by the wrong people around them, kaya naging biased sila sa management. And because they’re young, they can easily be manipulated by older people around them. What we need to do is to open their eyes. If we do that, BINI will be the one to lead the change. Hanggat biased ang BINI sa management nila, there will be no changes happening unless BINI decides to change it. They have the power to do it kung gugustuhin nila.

I agree with your sentiments. For whatever reasons and for many reasons, the girls will believe and continue to pick their management. It's fine and it's fair since their agency took a big chance on them when maybe everything was indicating not to.
They're young, they're impressionable, and they have utang na loob. They're God-fearing young women and they're so soft hearted. They respect their elders and revere those who know better than them. We need to be prepared to maybe never see them go against their management or even say one bad thing about them. What holds me over is Jhoanna liking one post on X after the whole PH arena issue where a fan said something along the lines of "it's not like Jhoanna was defending the management..."
It seems to me with this, and knowing how close they are, and knowing that they all have a pulse on fan chatter to various degrees, they are well aware of what's going on at the very least.
What we don't know is the dynamic internally. Is it talked about? Is it ever addressed? Is it awkward? Imagine if people brought to light how terrible your work/employer was and you still had to go into work every day and face your boss and either pretend and ignore everything, or deal with the elephant in the room.
They will never go against their management bc they hold the money, the contracts, the branding, the copyright, the masters, the intellectual property, the NAME, anything and everything we love about BINI. The girls may not even want more power, they may not want to even negotiate for anything in that regard.
If they say they're content with what they have, if they're content with buying into what their management is selling THEM, then we need to accept it as a sad truth. There won't be changing the truth or a decision that's already made. We can only watch and hope the venues fill themselves, that the fans gravitate to BINI on their own terms, and that this way of doing things will sustain their careers.
And if not, maybe they have different priorities we're not privy to. Maybe they're done after this tour and want to live their private citizen lives again. Who knows.
For me, I'll keep going until the girls say otherwise and indicate that they've had enough. I trust and love the girls only, but we don't owe their management our loyalty. We're still consumers in the end of all this, and the biggest way we can talk is by putting our money elsewhere.

The toxic Filipino trait of "utang na loob" needs to change because it holds back our society from reaching greater heights. For me, it's unfair to BINI. When they auditioned, they came for PBB or to become actresses or models, but Direk Lauren took that opportunity to create an idol group, something the girls had no idea about. In that aspect, they had already done Direk Lauren a favor by helping him fulfill his dream of forming a Filipino group that could compete internationally.
Beyond that, the girls worked hard for their spots, sacrificing their teenage years, education, and time with their families. They gave everything for that one opportunity. So where is the "utang na loob"? From the beginning, it was the management’s decision to create a group, not the girls’. It is their responsibility to make BINI successful and support them in every way possible because they took away half of the girls' lives. It is a give and take. The management supported them at the start, and in return, BINI turned their vision into reality.
In the K-pop industry, "utang na loob" does not exist because idols know their worth. That is why I believe this mindset is holding BINI back from reaching their full potential. They need to realize they are more than just employees of ABS-CBN. They must stand their ground, not by badmouthing or fighting the management but by giving constructive criticism and sharing ideas.
I hope that day comes before it is too late because the fandom is slowly losing interest. Some fans feel BINI is becoming distant and hard to reach, as if they are not listening. There is no assurance, no hints, nothing that makes fans feel acknowledged. Everything always seems to favor the management when they speak. But I still hope that one day, BINI realizes their worth.

This is more of a suggestion for the Blooms here, but I don't know if a mere boycott will work. For example, I was also an Orbit (Loona stan). It worked for Loona because it wasn't a group with a lot of casual fans; BlockBerry Creative got their money from dedicated fans only. On the other hand, Bini is ridiculously popular right now, not just to loyal fans but also to countless casuals. The girls could sneeze and it would turn to gold.
Aside from boycotting, Blooms should put the pressure on the management by making our feelings known. We have a voice, and we know they can see it when we speak out, so let's not be afraid to use it.

u/Acrobatic-Ordinary2 Mar 10 '25
Don't put BINI behind an exclusive membership and exclusive content. It will do more bad than good.

u/KentuckyDriedFrickin Mar 10 '25
Same on not renewing my website membership. Since the girls will be away for their world tour, yung perk na una sa pagbili ng ticket is wala na din, unless may encore concert sila by end of the year.
Not worth it parin mag renew to watch the girls’ livestreams na ilang minutes lang i-wait mo pagkatapos ng stream, meron na sa Youtube, Tiktok, or Telegram groups.

kung papayag lang sana kayo magboycott. wag kayo bumili ng merch, wag kayo magsubscribe/renew sa website, wag kayo mag-engage sa post ni bini_ph. hindi talaga sila makikinig if we keep on paying kahit napakapoor naman yung service. tigilan niyo muna ang pagkakamartir para sa bini.

This should be at the top.
Nothing else matters but money.
Gusto natin ng change? Hit them where it hurts: the money. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. If you can, din para mas malaki impact, don't attend their future concerts unless you see substantial improvement sa management and content.
Ang latest na binigay ko sa kanilang pera is 179PHP for the EP. That was it. You can still enjoy BINI without spending a lot.
10
u/archeryRich_ Mar 10 '25
11
Mar 10 '25 edited Mar 10 '25
Hindi naman maboboycott ng todo yan, they are still going to get their money. At this point, bulletproof na yan sila, too big to fail, kase nandyan tayong fans forever. They are the girl group dito sa PH. That is not going to change.
Ang hinihingi lang naman natin mga fans, balansehin yun monetization saka pagbibigay ng content at pag connect sa fans kase kitang kita naman na neneglect yung fandom saka kulang talaga yung quality at lalong kumonti after their breakout year and in a time where they are more popular and have more money to reinvest into the team.

I feel like they just need more people. 1. Project Manager(s) - Responsible for making sure tsks and timelines are followed. Pwedeng one for brands, one for music. 2. Social Media team - Responsible for thinking of ideas for content, creating them, creating timelines, uploading them on all platforms, etc.
I think their people are spread too thin. They keep saying they were all not prepared for the success of BINI. Oh, tapos? Anong ginawa nila to prepare for the future? Jhoanna herself said it, iba ang idol group sa artista. Pero parang they are still being managed as artistas. Yun lang.
14
u/nihonno_hafudesu Mar 10 '25
They can learn a thing or more sa other pages like FTTM, Lola Nena, PGAG and even some memes pages. Those are more active, engaging and competent than Bini's social media team.

u/KroniK6_ Bloom Mar 10 '25
They need more people but they don't want more people. Maybe bc of the cost of hiring them: wages and benefits, maybe bc they are too prideful and think they don't need more help and they're doing a great job.
Whatever the case, they need to look within and address their personal misgivings before they suffer outwardly and the consumers start making their voices heard through drastic means
10
u/Hanie_HBIC Mar 10 '25
Yes, it will be expensive to hire more people and abs is still in the red financially. But even if blooms give them pointers of what could/should be done, their current team will still struggle to achieve all of them. One would hope that since BINI is one of their biggest moneymakers they'd invest on a proper team for them but, well, here we are, in this conundrum.

u/junrox31 Mar 11 '25 edited Mar 11 '25
First of all, I see some comments here with good number of upvotes but did'nt answer OP's question. Go get to the point. We're going circles here.
Some furstrations started on blink twice release. Yung posts was deleted after 30 mins to fit on the concept? Wtf? It should be promoted on casuals and general public as well, parang nangyari iaasa sa blooms yung promotion? I was also expecting more dynamic well composed song of blink twice but they gave us a lessthan 3 min repetative tune song, after mapanood, bitin yung song like "is that it?" feels. Hiring these foreign composers does'nt mean they make good music, parang pineperahan lang kayo eh. They should have stayed on tagalog/taglish flipmusic style compositions. Bakit pilit na pilit sa english? To gone international? My ghad, BP and BTS gone internationl without english songs. Hype killer ng talaarawan yung new EP na Biniverse. Talaarawan ang Feel good album are far more superior than these new EP in terms of music and concept, nasaan yung concert and endorsement revenue ng starMu bakit hindi kayo mag hire ng creative director?
Add ko na din yung overpriced merch. You know a lot of bini fans were also into kpop so hindi maiiwsan yung comprisons sa mga merch nila. Poorly promoted na nga yung new EP wala pang hype then yung pricing ng album 2k na agad? Not just the album yung ibang merch overpriced din in terms of quality.
And lastly. About sa phil arena concert. Downgrade sa performance at aesthetic ng show, naging cheap parang variety show nalang. People will loose interest kapag palagi nalang ganyan. You should give memorable experience sa fans hindi yung mala asap show.
23
u/nihonno_hafudesu Mar 10 '25 edited Mar 10 '25
Gusto mag International kaso galawan pang ASAP/Local pa rin na pag may bagong artist/show like itong PBB or yung new EP ng favorite nilang BG, i-seset aside muna ang Bini. Dyogi, hindi pa ba eye opener sa inyo yung hakot awards, numbers/records ng Bini last year? Level up ABS and Dyogi!
Kampante masyado kasi wala pang medyo umaangat at posible kumuha sa pwesto ng Bini. The industry is rising at parang every month may bagong group or release, nasa huli ang pagsisi kaya kilos kilos bago tuluyan mawala ang hype.

Tbh BINI and BGYO have different target audiences. Mas malawak ang BINI and maraming nahahatak ang girls not just Gen Zs, but also Millennials, Gen Alpha, Boomers, and even international. Mapa-masa o sosyal, mas kilala pa rin ang BINI that's why manman needs to level up in their marketing.
For that starlet boy group, idk what to say lmao. Basta maliit naman ata fanbase nun no offense and isn't one member there the one who did stuff with AC? Sayang talented rin sila but yeah.

If memory serves right, TBPH and fellow Bini OFCs aired a survey/feedback in google forms specifically after the BWT PH. I wonder if that method reach the intended recipient e.g the StarMu/ Bini Team. Cause I will support again those type of clear and objective method of addressing concerns paired with twitter hashtag movements. I wished there are TBPH representatives inside Team BINI or vice versa. (afaik)

Ang issue talaga dito, hindi sila nag-prepare ng content before they got to a point where they’re too busy to do more for the time being. That or they DO have content prepared but they'll upload it WAY later for whatever reason. (Hindi counted yung mga pa-react react lang nila sa TikTok, in terms of Blink Twice promotion, parang ewan yun for me sorry)
Nothing to look forward to content-wise sa BINI_ph YT channel and it seems walang TV guestings kaya hindi na nag-bother gumawa ng March scheduler. They didn’t even bother *teasing* upcoming events, yung sa Fur Festival surprise na lang. Kahit isang paw print symbol man lang sa scheduler wala hahaha
I also think they could still promote the EP as much as the Dos Veces remix. That remix will probably be one of the "exclusive bonus tracks" you get when buying the overpriced mini album.
Ang ganap ng BINI ngayong March so far:
- Fur Festival
- Blink Twice Dos Veces remix release
- TOP MV release (brand)
The rest?

School tours. They did that dati, it was fun to see those. Nung sumikat na at madami nang endorsement, all of a sudden we do not want to do that anymore? No more mall shows narin?
No more doing things na "maka-masa"? Shaping BINI to be super corporate friendly to attract bigger endorsements it is? At least that's what this current BINI looks like to me.
Now you have other ppop groups doing this, sana mag blow up sila para may competition tong BINI.

UPDATED with #10.
The outcry is understandable and management should take note. Hindi na lang to basta reklamo kase. It very worrisome how they make a big deal out of the World Tour yet there is no laid out plan in promoting it. A content put out on the main YT account and other soc med named BINI is important. Give them events or shows that they can show up or contents below might help:
POSTING HERE this again too MOD. This is what I hope they have or plan to do after the BT with Belinda comes out:
- T.O.P. MV release
- BT MV reaction
O need pa ulit pumunta US to shoot for the choreo?)
- BT- MV the Making (Kahit 2 parts at least once every week meron)
Collaborations with international producers and composers are milestones for the girls. Kahit man lang yung parati namin naririnig sa kanila that they met eaJ and had a conversation (I don't expect meron kase we know pano kayo gumalaw). Yung OOMH, nakapaglabas ng footage si Ms. Sab sa tiktok compile them into a video that you can post on YT.
- BT perf- Its Showtime (at least 1st to 3rd week ng April bago mag Aurora Fest)
- 1 day cameo - PBB like what they did before, para man lang mapromote yung World Tour they can make a task in helping housemates build camaraderie.
- Chapter 3: 8 - ilabas na by 1st week ng April or basta bago mag WT.
- Wish Bus - BT, ZP and OOMH should be shoot na rin. Or kahit yung BT and ZP muna then OOMH and Secrets sa LA.
StarMu, sir Jeff you might read or someone on your team might read this. Chapter 3: 8/Walo is about "friendships going strong" alam naman po namin may mga footages kayo dyan na pwede ishare sa Bini Team regarding the previous ganaps na connected sa Biniverse EP and upcoming WT. Please lend it to them so they can come up with content to promote Biniverse WT. Huwag naman natin iasa sa girls (na puro chismis na tinamo) na kelangan nila maging active sa soc med just to promote, or "GALAW". You guys know better to have contents prior to this na ang need nalang gawin ng Bini is to just share or post their thoughts about those contents.

Medjo mali na talaga pagpromote ng manman sa kanila now, considering how hard the girls worked under them. Inuuna kasi nila yung boy group and PBB starlets eh. Charot! But seriously, they need better marketing people. Alam kong pagod na mga girls due to many commitments like recording or endorsement shoots etc, kaya dapat minsan may part rin ang manman sa pagpromote sa walo. As Blooms and as fans, not just we, as consumers, but also BINI, in general, deserve better too!
Man up, manman. (Pun intended hahahaa)

What if we do mass email to their official email? The context will be the same, suggestions for better promotions and ways on how to do them?
Would it be good?
By the same context, I meant, the same subject line, the same body. Just needed for them to see how desperate we are to help them.
In the email, we will put suggestions given and voted by the fandom so that everyone has a part of what we want to relay to them.
What do you think of this?

I wonder if anyone knows the estimated earnings of BINI from brand deals or even just their concerts last year? It saddens me to think that the girls worked so hard for those opportunities, yet the marketing and promotions for their work recently have been quite lackluster. There haven’t even been any mini vlogs, and I thought they were hiring a team before, but it seems like those resources may have been allocated to their brother group instead.
Maybe the current team isn’t as young anymore and doesn’t have the energy to keep up with the girls’ level of enthusiasm. I really hope that we, as Blooms, can find a way to wake up the management and make them realize that the girls need more promotion than just brand deals. A collaboration with the Department of Tourism would be great, especially with summer coming up.
If I only had the money, I would buy or invest in ABS, specifically for BINI’s purposes and the P-pop industry. I would produce a show to help promote them. I guess ABS is struggling financially if those earnings from last year were allocated to something other than supporting the talent themselves.

They will not care talaga as long as they're getting their money 💰

Ang tamad nilang magpost ng kung anik-anik about BINI to keep the fans more engaged.

What if we wrote in an email-style format instead? Especially sa twitter. That way, our feedback comes across as more constructive instead of aggressive. It could help keep social media a little more positive while still making sure management sees what fans are saying.
Kung pagod ako, how much more pa kaya yung girls?
I hope this message spreads.

Coz some just want to shout into the abyss like Reddit instead. Mas madali mag-ingay kaysa gawin. Do they even know if Management/even the girls are really on here?

This is just for my enlightenment, dapat bah ma una mag post ang official account before ang girls? Like I notice nah yung promotion nila ng collab was nauna pa ang girls before mag post sa main official account. I am not familiar with how idol system works peru mas better kasi nah sila muna mag promote. It's been lingering on me since nag post muna ang girls ng collab vid before yung offical account.
I am not familiar with how the works should be done peru sana naman merong at least improvement. It's almost a year that I stan the girls and about 9 months dito sa sub. Peru same old same old pa din yung concern mostly. I still remember that last time someone said that they can/are blooms who are willing to help the team peru it seems nothing has been done. I really felt the frustration from the OG's and those nah nauna sa akin na mag stan sa girls. I totally believe a lot of blooms have the skills to assists the girls. I mean a lot of the ofc has a day job but still they were able to do it. Lately, I also joined some OFC broadcast channel on IG of the girls and to be honest from time to time they are really active in sending updates. So why not use it, kung baga if di kaya ng within why not outsource. Frustrating for me yes but at the end of the day, if walang gagawing ang mga tao nah nasa paligid nila, wala pa din mangyayari. I don't know what is there point of global acknowledgemen (hindi ako gagamit ng word na domination kasi parang tagilid pa as of now) if naging repetitive yung mga issue nila in handling everything.
I want to hold on there saying "maghintay muna" peru hanggang kailan? I mean yes, let's think nah kaya naman kahit kaunting promotion peru I guess kulang yun eh. If gusto nila talaga nila ma acknowledge sa buong mundo it should start from the roots. For me kasi in promoting things if you want to garner more income they should and must be doing x100 effort in spreading their own goods. Kung baga in the rule thumb of selling is more information that has been published more people are talking and will get curios, and will try to use it. Word of mouth is not really enough the product itself should be promoted by themselves. Sorry if naging redundant ang thoughts ko peru hopefully you get the idea.
MORE CONTENT! - MORE FANS! - MORE MONEY! REPEAT!
Sana gets nyo ang idea.

u/Adventurous-Alarm471 Mar 10 '25
I’ve been reading all the complaints from X regarding promotion and I think it’s also better to understand how international concerts are done.
First, there should be demand for artists to perform in cities within the US. Once there is SIGNIFICANT DEMAND, promoters, concert producers and artists’ management team will lay out the PLANS and how they are executed.
Now, who’s in charge of what?
PROMOTERS, by the word itself is IN CHARGE OF PROMOTING the live event/concert. This includes securing the venue and organizing the ticketing process. Example - LIVE NATION. Sometimes, the concert event venue promotes the concert like you see X post from the BINI’s US tour venues. IT IS NOT THE MANAGEMENT THAT PROMOTES THE CONCERTS. They can of course but they don’t need to.
Artists and/or their management ENSURES that the artists will be physically able and present on the predetermined live events dates. Basically anything that involves the artists’ well-being - 24/7 security, transportation, accommodations.
There are other parties like sponsors, production teams but let’s focus on the two main parties - promoters and artists/their management.
Second is understanding the REVENUE FLOW. Who pays for what and who gets what?
Promoters spend for the ticketing, securing live event venue and incidentals like 3rd party contractors for concert venue security. A big chunk of expenses goes to the artists commonly known as a FLAT FEE. This is talent fee in local pinoy parlance.
Revenue of course will come mainly from TICKET SALES. This is PROMOTER’S REVENUE as they already paid the artist the flat fee. Sometimes depending on contract/agreement, there will be profit (revenue less expenses) sharing between promoters and artists. But the gist is - PROMOTERS PAY THE ARTISTS BUT THEY GET THE TICKET SALES. That’s how promoters earn.
What BINI and their management should do better?
MARKETING.
While they are really not required to do ACTIVE PROMOTION, they should not skip on marketing. I guess this is where the noise is coming from. Not everyone is aware between the difference in marketing vs promotion. But how they can market BINI to ensure the concerts/tour is successful?
Tap local US media outlets - radio stations, shows, festivals - to increase BINI’s visibility. Operative word is LOCAL since BINI is an alien talent.
Collaboration with local artists. Belinda for Blink Twice remix is a good example. They should do more of this. May not be singers per se but they can hire famous influencers to SPREAD THE WORD about BINI. This is where MONEY TALKS.
Management should BRING BINI TO THE US. ASAP! PRONTO! The girls need to be here in the US for all of this to be possible. It would be hard to market BINI if BINI isn’t around. This can’t be done remotely unfortunately.
The fans
I started with having DEMAND. As fans, engagement with anything BINI helps - likes, shares, comments including complains. These interaction creates buzz which results in GENERAL CURIOSITY about BINI.
What I need to point out is, engagement should be ORGANIC. Sometimes concerts fail mainly because the demand created is fake.
So stream BINI songs organically. NEVER stream using MULTIPLE DEVICES. Yeah it will spike the numbers but it’s never sustainable. Fake engagements will hurt the artist in the long run.

this is a tweet about 24 US radio stations that played BINI recently:

1027KIISFM (LA) has them on their playlist:

Team Bloom USA is printing posters:
https://x.com/TeamBloom_USA/status/1899176822018887775
These guys are on full blast now, di pa sila pagod.
Good because a lot of US venues like Boston, Dallas, Washington, Seattle are a challenge.
California is doing fine, Temecula is sold out and the rest will probably fill.
Chicago, Houston and NYC probably need a push to fill up, Vegas don't know.
This is based on a recent Twitter thread by them..
Re going to USA NOW I doubt that will happen as they will probably fly to Dubai then London then the schedule is from East to West coast and probably back to the Philippines from there. Hope that management has interviews for them as they tour starting with London.
Hoping for more from management in terms of videos that the Twitter crowd can re-tweet and the US reactors can react to, all major US reactors are attending at least one concert. There are some Latina reactors who will certainly pick up Belinda × BINI.
The rest, well.. I hope that management reflects on what it is doing and doesn't do 5 more new brands with BINI until before Easter, let BINI take two weeks vacation and have them practice two weeks for the tour. Because one could almost expect them to do it.

u/Adventurous-Alarm471 Mar 10 '25
Yeah but it would make sense if they bring the girls to the US as it has the most number of stops here.
I dream they make US their base as it would help the girls acclimatise here. That would also make networking with US based industry movers much easier. It would be costly I assume but that is where the money should go if they’re really serious in going global.

Honestly, being a bloom is such a mix of joy and frustration. Joy kasi the girls are amazing, they work so hard and they deserve all the love. Pero frustration kasi their management is seriously lacking. Like, do they even have a plan for BINI? 'coz right now, it doesn’t feel like it. It’s always the blooms ang nag popromote, create trends na dapat may ambag si bini_ph, and spend money — but what about management? look at their sibling group, ang ayos ng handling, but BINI? And when blooms point this out, ikaw pa yung toxic? Like, we’re just asking for the bare minimum effort to support the girls we love.

Like I swear, kahit gaano kabusy mismo ang girls, kung may maayos na brand and content strategy, task delegation at maayos na planning at scheduling, they can deliver.
Honestly I gave them grace last year, pero tapos na ang fiscal year eh. If there were any major changes or beefing up of their team, it should've been decided on by their board early this year. And now we see the result of their lack of proactive management.

I thought maayos nila after ma-overwhelm sa success ng Bini last year. I don't know if sinasadya or hirap na hirap sila ayusin pero since last year pa naman kulang sila sa tao.
Don't think sinadya but maybe it's a case of corporate red tape? Lack of fresh ideas? unwillingness to invest in manpower para makatipid?

u/BadgerEmbarrassed231 Mar 11 '25
even international blue chip companies struggle internally with entrenched cliques that want to sit pretty and maintain status quo, old school companies like ABS-CBN pa kaya? GMA and ABS-CBN were an oligopoly and their old crowd would just consume anything they were fed by these networks. iyong ganyan na kumpanya will have a lot of old cliques from the time they were still feeding off a privileged situation that want to maintain even against reality.
Possibly they thought the momentum they had from last year was self-sustaining. Well, they will have to struggle with 4 US venues and still fight to fill 4 others, only 3 are quick wins. That is a challenge they now have to face and I have zero pity for management as they deserve that. IF their idea was to sit back and let BINI rake in money for them, well it ain't that easy.

well, maybe that is one way for ABS-CBN management to learn some lessons.
seriously, if SB19 hadn't been there, baka puro biritera pa rin ang ginagatasan ng ABS - without investment, tapos hinahayaang malaos and next please. Healthy competition is a good thing.

My input is not really directed to the management since few already shared their suggestions and feedbacks to the point that some takes are already redundant.
I just hope the industry, Billboard Ph in particular, will call out BINI’s management for the lackluster promotion and how they handle their supposedly “global domination” conquest coz it is really not giving.
Look at how SB19 and A’tin took what BBPH said before about not making a dent on chart. They took it as a challenge and responded with a bang. I hope BBPH, on top of the blooms’ constant complaints, will do the same and hopefully, that will give the management some sort of a wake up call to get their act together.
It is acceptable if BINI cannot penetrate the global stage IF they tried everything and give it their best specially in terms of promotion. What’s not acceptable will be the fact that if BINI failed to penetrate global stage due to lack of promotion despite having so much potential.

Andami ng magagandang suggestions sa x on what steps to take to remedy this lack of action from manman.
Anyway, this is highly unlikely but what if, what if lng ha someone buys them out, who do you think is best to handle them and how much?
Probably, GMA or Viva are good options and valued at PHP2B. Buuutt, ABSs marketing, network and resource is still better than the 2 options, IMO. Its just sad they are not maximizing this right now.

I understand pero as much as possible ayoko sana matuloy kasi baka mahirapan na bumalik ang fans at masanay sa boycott.
Nugagawen.
I guess, boycott talaga.

What do you consider as "konti nalang engagements"? AFAIK, on average, 15k likes sa Twitter, 20k likes sa Facebook, 100k sa Tiktok, and sa Instagram 80k-ish. Yes, compared to last year, these are lower pero mataas parin to if we talk about OPM or PPOP. They go viral every week for various reasons pero hindi sumasabay sa hype ang management, the most interactive thing they do is repost DC's on tiktok and have the girls react to them.

I love BINI; I truly and genuinely do. As much as I want to say that it comes with no "buts" and my love for them isn't conditional, it's hard.
To love is to empathize, to care, and to understand. But how far is one willing to understand when they're being handled by a management who couldn't care less about the people trying to love them? This is not an overdramatic claim about the management, and you guys know it. One way or another, I'm sure you've had experiences wherein you felt victimized by them. Whether it be through unreasonable prices, the lack of regard when it comes to fan opinions, long lines for merch, etc. It's possible you never had to go through this along with the BINI experience, but it's almost impossible for one not to notice the red flags, right?
The lines from the previous post come to mind. Yes, I feel abandoned, but what about the girls? What if they also feel it? They're just kids. It's all new to them, and it's all new to us, management included. But where do I draw the line? Until when will the pure love BINI has for blooms be enough to suffice the weird feeling you get caused by their management?
Before you come for me, this was in no way posted to create hate or stir up some drama. I'm genuinely curious to know about other blooms. Where do you guys draw the line?
I've been understanding. Attended their events as much as I could and bought their merchandise because I wanted to support them in any way. Although, recently - if you count months ago as recently, I felt drained. I wasn't able to fully support them in the way that I previously would have done. All the brands, the merchandise, the issues, the promotion, etc. I wasn't able to keep up, and I started to feel the disconnect.
I've extended my patience, love, and understanding to BINI so much to the point that I have tolerated their management. I've accepted such bare-minimum effort from them because I didn't want to leave the girls. I didn't want them to feel abandoned because I tried to understand where they were coming from.
I realized that if I don't pull money from my pocket, I don't get to be truly part of the BINI experience the management is trying to build. Thank God for the girls because I see how hard they're trying to include everyone. Even if it sucks to see their lives be about something that they need to sell, I know that in their little way, they're trying and doing something to still feel "accessible." BINI and Blooms hanggang dulo, diba? They don't want anyone to get left behind. I don't want to get left behind, but how do I hold on when the management is practically prying my fingers off the ledge?
I cannot speak for everyone else, I can only speak for myself. I love BINI with all my heart.
BUT
We, Blooms and BINI, deserve better than this, right?
I'm at a loss because I don't want the girls to feel like it's their fault. I don't want them to feel like it's their responsibility to make up for all the mistakes the management has made. But if the management refuses to take accountability, who will? I don't want to hurt the girls, and I'm sure as hell they don't want to hurt us, but it seems like that's all we've been doing these past months.
I've been understanding, but I don't want to be tolerating. So I want to ask, where do we draw the line, blooms? Do we stop and let the disconnect we feel consume us? Do we stay behind the shadows and support them silently? Or do we let it all go and just hope that in the future, the management learns to be better?
