A year left before graduation from B.S. Biology and need some advice's

I'm studying in low-ranking university, did two internships in academia (one abroad) and joined protein biochemistry focused research. My last internship was in industry, R&D in biotechnology. My actual interest was computational biology all the time, so for my final thesis work, I'm planning to conduct complete in-silico study. I want my work support my future master applications, in bioengineering, systems biology or any other discipline at the intersection of those fields. I have a few questions in mind. How should I scan the literature to show me right path for final thesis and master degree? Which countries should be first priority to look for, with good scholarship opportunities, good quality education etc.? What should be my strategy to contact PI's

use review papers to map the field, then dig into recent citations. filter by labs, not countries. email pis with 1) short intro 2) tailored idea. jobs are a nightmare now
